Gameplay

This is the only thing to talk about in this game, so this is all I will talk about in this section of the review. In this short 1-minute game, you are expected to go from point A to point B without delay; I know this to be the objective of the game since the beginning is filled with a rushing scene that expects you to rush on ahead into a trap (nice placement, and has to be avoided).

This is not a walkthrough, though this game is easy enough not to require one. After two or three attempts of figuring out the map, any user should understand how the game is run and not having difficulty. Therefore you can savor the few times you play this and enjoy it without getting entirely enraged by dying.

Back to my original point, the objective of the game is almost achieved... and by almost I mean that not all parts of the game are completely rushed. I think of the first trap as a "sudden stall" to the game that adds dramatic effect, but the part thereafter resorts to my Guerrilla Warfare tactics, removing most momentum of what I previous had and slows gameplay down a little.

As for the big picture, this game does good; it doesn't waste a single bit of space for something too meaningless. However, the enemy placement is a bit on the shallower side for this style of gameplay, since I was feeling the game to be adrenaline packed and rusehed, but I got only a scene or two of that in this game.

Now for some Crunchy Numbers:

Game Structure

Enemy Placement: 4.5/10 - Has its moments, but just isn't engaging enough.

Map: 4.5/10 - way too short; as soon as the game gets going its over. Decent other than that.

Aesthetics 1.5/10 - I don't expect shooter games to look magnificent, so this typically won't be a big factor in the fun.

Gameplay

Difficulty: 4/10 - A bit on the easier side, but definitely close to that savory point of challenge and easygoing fun.

Flow: 4.5/10 - Has a few rush moments, but is halted by forced stalls in the game.

Etc

Replayability: 2/10 - Too short and easy for me to play it again. Just a quick experience to have fun with.

Impact: 2/10 - Too short to have major impact.

OVERALL SCORE

Fun: 5/10

Twas a fun little game, but nothing that majorly grabbed my attention. I didn't really feel that rushed when playing the game, except at the first part and last, and everything was just ok. In fact, it was quite average in terms of everything. However, since the difficulty wasn't extreme but required a playthrough or two, I enjoyed trying to beat this game of what it has to offer.

In the future, if I were to see a game like this try and improve, I would definitely focus on enemy placement. This is the absolute foundation to these quick rush-games that really make them shine. Test the game yourself, if you aren't constantly moving then its not an adrenaline packed game. Not saying that you can occasionally stall gameplay with a break or for dramatic effect, but it should focus on the intensity most of the other time.
