Arcade Adventure is a game created by creatingames

>:) You lost it. Just kidding. Sup guys. I'm back with my first .:|WD|:. for a while. Anyone on the forums might know that it [WD] hit a bump in the road which took it down for a while, but it's back up. Our competition, Miracle Reviews, are also back up. WD have now joined with JR (Lordeldar) and are making a comback. Anyway, you probably don't care much about the splode that goes on in that abondoned category on the forums, you want to know about the game.

Pre-thoughts

Right, I reviewing Arcade Adventure by Creatingames. This is the THIRD time I have reviewed a game by him, and the second WD. Stumble 2 recieved 4/5 and Going For Gold recieved 4/6. So yeah, I have pretty high expectations for this game. CG has had one featured game and many games have been reviewed, So I will be adding a review for Arcade Adventure to that toll. Anyway, I'm going to quit my droning on and on, and get to the reviews.

Thumbnail

Well, it just looks like a 'meh' thumbnail to me. Nothing exciting. I don't understand why it's called 'Arcade Adventure'. It looks roughly like a crudely-designed biome. But anyway, never judge a book by it's cover...

Game play

Right, lets say that the really started to get my nerves. I don't think this part was tested, as the crate, I assumed, was supposed to be pushed into the lava and used as a bridge, but no. It just floats above the lava. So that meant I had to go and get the grenades. I blew up the cave-in blocks, only to find a blue key door. I then found myself wondering, 'Now wtf am I going to do?'. Of course, I knew, but I wasn't happy. I had to go past the crate. So that really sploded me off. I returned and saw something which put a smile on my face. All right, now imma turn off walkthrough mode and into review guy.

Scenery

Well, this got me confused. By reading the description, all I could understand is that you had been transported to a jungle by the arcade machine. But the first thing I noticed was a ladder. And a grenade. And then doors. And then a crate. And then splodein' key doors. So yeah, confusing. This could (and should) have been better thought out. Of course, there were the occasional trees (MY CREATON) which I guess did suit, but still.

Puzzles/traps

Well, I guess these puzzles were nice-ish. There were lots of them, but had that little something too them: It's easier to find them when you aren't looking for them. As for the traps, I didn't see any, so I don't really have much to say. This game is starting to seem just like an ordinary game made by an average game creator, but that really shouldn't be like that.

Block Placement

Personally I thought this was pretty average. It was just a follow the road kind of style. There should have been burst tiles, or even some awkwardly placed blocks that have you punching your computer screen in frustation. A maze. SOMETHING?!?!?!?

Pros

~ It didn't drive me completely insane, unlike other games.

~ It had nice puzzles

Cons

~ The scenery was really confusing.

~ Where were the traps?

Sorry, but I can't give this anymore as it kinda bored me.
