.:|WD|:. I'm Teh Eye Guy, Yeah Teh Eye Guy...
Welcome to another WellDone Review!
Yep, WellDone Reviews is back, and I'll be reviewing Eye Guy, by weeters99. I don't really know weeters99, but he requested this in the thread along with creating a lot of hype for it so I decided to give it a try.
"Ooh, wow. Darkness, darkness everywhere... so what the heck is going on? Agh!" The first level was very mysterious and took a heck of a lot attempts to beat. I finally got that suspended coin (YEEEAAAHH, {censored}!!!!!!), and was off to the second level. After a ton of weird white dots and invisible platform crossing I got to the coin... just to find that I passed right through it. (NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!) I am not sure if it's supposed to do that but I doubt it, so I never got to level 3 (D:). It was probably just a failure of weeters99's part, but it sure was upsetting. If it's not a failure, then... well I doubt it.
I sure wish I could've seen the rest of the game, because it was pretty cool. There were no enemies or power-ups, but there didn't have to be. You started each level with 5 lives and the goal to score one point, which you could always see so close yet so far away. I really liked that. It was frustrating at first, but once you got used to it, it was pretty fun.
This was a total puzzle game. The invisible platforms that would break and make you lose a life in level 1 provided a kewl challenge, and in level 2, there were less dangers but it was WAY more confusing because of how large it was. Because of this, it was a pretty addicting game.
As for scenery, between the first 2 levels, there was always a safe white line at the bottom and a suspended coin. Level 1 was total black, however level 2 had the snow effect which really added to the epicness of the dark scenery. As for the character, it was exactly as the title implied- just a simple white eye in a world of darkness. Weeters achieved it to where the darkness almost seemed to close in on you at times.
Darn, I'm just so disappointed that you can't win level 2. Weeters, if you fix this I'll probably do a new review on your game later on, that's how much I liked it. Well, I didn't get too far for above-mentioned reasons, so I suppose it's time for the ratings.

Any Last Words: Sorry but I had to dock you 2 stars for its unbeatableness... fix this and I'll re-review it later on.
