Crystal Cave is a game created by whtever

Just a notice about the title, I didn't mean murky in a bad way. This is a review of Crystal Cave by Whtever. Enjoy, including Whtever.

Introduction

Well, Crystal Clear is one of the games that was added into this years EGD (Epic Game Drop) contest. By one of the best game makers on the site, Whtever. Whtever is a creative game maker, who normally finds and uses his own puzzles. He mostly is making shooters' right now, but I'm sure he'll reurnt to the beloved plat creator sooner or later. Whtever normally does well in EGD contests from what I've heard, and I guess you're all wondering "Has he done good again?" You'll find out later. First off, what I thought the game would be like.. Which should be good.

Well, my thoughts. I saw the hype thread for Crystal Cave, and it didn't have much information to it, at first. So I never knew much to expect, but I prefer games that are meant tobe looked forward to and not, spoiled.. But progress became into Whtever's thread for Crystal Cave, and it became clearer, this was about to become another awesome game. Like half of the games for EGD. But was I right? Was it true epicness? Let us find out! :D

The thumbnail, half rock, half blue. But, it was interesting, and new quality. Something we don't see regularly. Normally we see all these smart thumbnails. (looks at Jcaldwell, the thumbnail king). Alright, that part was going a little to far. But, on the bright side. We're seeing something new here. Meaning, good things, I hope. But who the hell cares. Let's just put it at this. It's something we don't see much.

Review

Crystal cave is possibly one of the best shooters this year. It has action, and adventure. At the start of the game, you in between some rocks. And you have to figure out how to get passed. (I'm not telling you how >,>) After that you just have to keep going along, figuring out what then hell to do xD. The puzzles in the game were pretty exciting overall, though. They were either knew or old. They were just average, but enough to keep the game at good peak.

The scenery was alright in the game, but there really isn't much scenery to judge. It's just a few rocks at the start and a couple of other things as you go along. But sometimes you need to experiment with things, and as I went along I saw most of the scenery improve. I'll be honest though, it wasn't really my choice, but it fit in with the game perfectly, so that's all that matters right now.

The placements were also pretty well done. The enemies were in correct places, even though the same ones were mostly used all the time. Not like it matters. The rocks though, excellent ideas of where to put them, and I probably couldn't of done better myself. Whtever did a good job. There were also many other placements, arrows, teleporters, ect. Which were all in rather good spots as well.

Really I don't know what to say. Let's just put it this way: I enjoyed the placements.

Conclusion

Scores:

Action: ___/_____

Adventure: ____/_____

Game-play: ____/_____

Scenery: ___/_____

Fun: __.5/_____

Overall: ____/_____

Crystal Cave is a great game that deserves it's score. It's filled with action and adventure, and plenty or surprises. Even though it lacks fun, there's still plenty of up-sides to the game. It is surely feature worthy, and with a few edits it could make it into EGL. Who knows? Keep up the great work Whtever.

And yes, once again, a bleepish review by me.
