Introduction

Welcome to my 55th review and my 51st [MR]. I'll be reviewing 'Smash it' by mat7772 and I've decided to review a game today that isn't in the [MR] queue. Mat hasn't made a PPG for a little while, not since October, as well as the fact he hasn't made many. I'm not expecting an amazing game or anything, but I would like to see a good one from a user like mat.

Review

The aim of the game is different, also unique and well made. What you have to try and do is shoot arrows so they hit objects so you can get a ball to the goal. Each level is completely different to the last and sometimes have different features. The first level is simple and straight forward, as well as the couple of levels after that, but after the first few, mat adds in objects and enemies to make it more challenging. Sometimes it can get too challenging, so challenging that I needed to ask for mat's help since I didn't really have any clue of what to do. Even if I experiment shooting different arrows at different objects I still have to ask him.

This game is a puzzle game, and it gets the player to think hard about where they should shoot the arrows. You can only shoot an arrow in a position once so you'd need to think carefully about when and where to shoot the arrows. Sometimes though, the arrows wouldn't work or might go in the wrong direction when it shouldn't though which does get annoying if you get far in a challenging level. The puzzle also seems to make the game unique since some seem to include new features. Mat also included new type of puzzles as well like having to hit a ball so it hits an object before another ball hits it or whatever. Mat repeated those type of puzzles though.

Is this game feature worthy?

The big question though is "Is this game feature worthy?" In my opinion, yes it is. I'd recommend an editor to play this and see if they think it's worthy of a feature. It really is a game that shouldn't let you down. It has creativity, challenge, puzzle, what more do you want? The placements wasn't too good I know but it still had a decent score. As well as the challenge, which is also almost five out of five. So I'd recommend that if you like puzzle games, this game is for you.
