Chaos: The Destruction is a game created by achievement

NOTE: Achievement has private this game and has started a new era of Achievement game making!

Introduction:

'Chaos: The Destruction' is an action packed ship shooter game by achievement. Playing some of his games recently, I've identified that achievement is quite talented at the shooter creator. He did go a little inactive quite recently, however this is one of his older games on this account I am reviewing. Based on the games I've played from him before, they weren't bad at all, so I was expecting a decent game here.

Review:

The game was challenging as there were enemies constantly coming at you. It wasn't too difficult, it was just right because there was a reasonable amount of health and people have beaten it, yet there was challenge at the same time. It was fun to play as there was something to be doing all the time. The game was addicting because of how fun it was to play and all the enemies. I've played this game 3 times which confirms it is quite addicting. I've just about beaten it all 3 times I played it which also shows it's not too difficult. At the same time it isn't really simple because not everyone can beat it and I completed the game with minimal health. Generally the game was pretty exciting to play as it was fun and challenging.

Now I'm going to talk about the placements of the game. There are a variety of enemies, from heavy cruisers to centipedes, I'd say achievement used a least half of the ship creator's enemies in this game. This keeps the game interesting seeing there are different enemies coming at you all the time. However, there are a lack of original puzzles, such as using bombs to move spider key. They were simple to solve seeing as I know what to do. All of them I've witnessed before so I could figure out what to do quite easily because it's just the same as any puzzles I come across in other games. In my opinion this makes the puzzles pointless because what's the point in having them there if it wastes time and it's no different to standard puzzles. Overall, everything was placed pretty well, I just think achievement could be a little bit more creative with what he puts in such as the puzzles.

Despite the positives I've mentioned, there were also a few negatives in the game. There were a lack of original sequences and it wasn't much different to any other games I've played. This makes the game feel like every other average game on Sploder. There was a bit of acid in the game which wasn't needed at all. It just slows the game down and makes it boring because you have to wait and aren't forced to go through it. The spider key battles were dull, both the red and yellow spider key battle had no challenge in them and I got past them quite easily. They were boring and very easy because all it was is the boss and no other enemies surrounding it to make it more exciting and challenging.

Overall: ___.5/_____

Conclusion:

In conclusion, Chaos: The Destruction is not a bad game. It wasn't quite feature worthy, but it was definitely a pretty good game. Generally, it was challenging and fun but I think achievement just needs more creativity for his future games, and I certainly recommended you give this game a go if you have the time.
