This a [MR] where you might just find a miracle review!

Pre Thoughts

I know that staylor is a great game creator and has got a lot of featured games and once I saw this on the featured games page, I just wanted to play this game. High expectations are for this game.

Introduction

Welcome to my seventeenth review and my thirteenth [MR]. Today I'll be doing a review on 'What A Paperbag' by staylor21fan. This game doesn't have a storyline and I know that staylor has enough to do one as I've seen he's done some on some of his other games. Well, hopefully this game will help me understand why this game is called 'What A Paperbag.' Now lets take a look at this game.

Thumbnail

This is what some people judge if they want to play the game or not, the thumbnail. I've never talked about this in any of my reviews before but I think they're one of the most important things in the game. Although they don't affect the ratings, they still help people decide whether they want to play the game or not. Now what I think is best for thumbnail is a lot of room used up and decent scenery, and that's what staylor has done here. Now if no scenery was placed in the thumbnail, less people will play it has it will just look boring. Staylor has done a great job in the thumbnail here.

Beginning of the game

At the start of the game, I knew straight away that I had to look for a grenade and it was right in my site. It would of been good if the grenade could of been hidden some where but that's the only bad thing at the beginning of the game. At the start of the game there are no enemies which is great because in a destroy the enemies level, I don't think there should be any enemies right at the start apart from bats. So far, I'm looking forward to see what is further on the game.

Puzzles and Traps

So the first aspect I'm going to talk about are the puzzles and traps. Now most of the puzzles in this game were a bit obvious because I've seen them all before, but they were all well placed. But what's happened with the traps? Normally staylor adds in a trap but I didn't notice any, well, there weren't any that were obvious. Now I might not of completed the game but I did get to level three so I know if there was enough work put into the game for puzzles and traps.

Placements

Now it's time for the enemy placement. This was okay, I feel some of them were a bit bunched together. I also think that there were a random combination of enemies and I was starting to get a bit confused about where the game is meant to be set. But apart from that, the enemies were placed well. Next is the health placement. Well, this isn't like some games where you only get a small amount of health when you're running low of it, it's probably one of those games where you will be low of health then you'll get an extra life. That is okay, but I prefer games where you get a small amount of health when you're low of it. Say it was dark game for example, I'd say that what staylor did for health here would be good for dark games.

Action

Action, the last aspect I'll talk about in this game. Now this is something else I've not talked about in any of my reviews before. Action is probably one of the most important aspects in the game. If there's not action, people will just get bored of the game and they'll probably give it a low rating, but has this game got good action? Yes, it has! This game is very action packed and there's always something that you're trying to do. One thing that did let the action down though is that there were a few times where you're doing the same for a long amount of time.

Thoughts During The Game

During the game, I was having fun enjoying it but there were a few points that I was a bit disappointed with like trying to destroy to Rocky's which took like a minute to do.

Pros

Decent Thumbnail

Well Placed Puzzles

Action Packed

Fun To Play

Cons

Some Things Were Obvious

No Traps

Enemies Bunched Together

Some Things Took Too Long To Do

My Thoughts

This game has got some work to improve on but this is a good game to enjoy.

Ratings (Out of Five):

Puzzles and Traps: 2/5

Placements: 3/5

Action: 4/5

After Thoughts

Overall this game deserves a 3/5. Altogether, this game was good but I don't think that it deserved to be featured.

This has been a miracle review!
