Date: June 8th, 1952,Los Angeles: My name is Joseph "Joey" Freeman.I've been a lot of things in my life.A soldier of World War II,a hardworker,and also,a gang member.It all started on April 2nd,1948.I had just returned home from the U.S. Campaign in Japan,and gotten a job at a Freight Stop.It was at that time that I met Donny Henry,and his gang of cutthroat,criminal misfits known as The Cataclysm.They offered me more money than I could ever hope to earn in a billion years of working at the Freight Stop.But the price was that I would need to become a member of their gang,and become a criminal.At the time,I was ignorant.Greedy.So I chose to accept.After my brutal initiation,I became a member of The Cataclysm,and accompanied them on crime raids and shootouts with other gangs that roamed the streets of L.A. at the time.It was L.A.'s most brutal year,1948,and the most brutal man was the leader of The Cataclysm,Donny Henry,or as we called,"The Boss".We owned the streets of the city up until late 1949.This is when we found out that there was a "rat" in our gang feeding intelligence about us to the FBI.So,the S.W.A.T.,FBI,and L.A.P.D. all cracked down on us at our hideout and arrested us all.We were all put in the same prison.My sentence was a twelve-year-sentence in jail.But my 'buddies' in The Cataclysm all escaped,but they didn't help me escape when we tried.They left me to rot in that splodeheap jail for twelve years.And now,I'm out of prison,and I'm trying to start a new life,putting my past crimes behind me.But before I can do that,I must do one thing first:eliminate all of my old "friends" in The Cataclysm and kill "The Boss" to take revenge for what they did to my life.....
