Pre-Thoughts

I have always remembered the first game I reviewed by Crunchynut, it was very VERY arty like. I was hoping though in this one that I would have more gameplay instead of decore. So, let's see what he did this time.

Review

This game was definitely better than the first one because of the spread out action and great puzzles. The first one didn't have many puzzles, and it had action, just not layered correctly. This game shows that Crunchynut has evolved. He is a much better game maker and didn't focus on the art, but he focused on the simple gameplay that made this game pretty great. The main puzzles were clever, and very hard to figure out. I like that. ;) The fact that Crunchy mixed all of the things that you want in a game, and he added some extra stuff that made it better, and to top it all off, some pudding. Yes, pudding. :D So, if you want to know what I mean by pudding and the great puzzles, I'll move on, but skip the puzzles because only you can figure that out.

Well, this game at first looks practically easy, but it gets harder, and I figured that out right away. After a pourly placed blue key, I had some turrets, and some diamonds. Now, I can already tell you about the pudding. The pudding is like the crystals, placed all around the game and you are desperate to get them. Now do you get my point? Yes? No? Okay, lets move on. After this, there are two teleporter choices. Before I move on, let me say that the best teleporter with the best gameplay was the right one I believe. That also holds the great puzzle that I have never seen before. Now, in the left is one main path that branches off into 3 other paths. One of the paths leads to a lot of crystals, missle launchers, turrets, and other stuff that you don't want to see. This was one of the major setbacks of this game that is easily noticed. The other two were the following: 1 puzzle (it's okay), and another action scene with walls and ships. This scene was great because of the great placed blocks, enemies, and the walls. I was impressed by the creativity of this part, because it was much different then I have ever seen. Now, lets travel through the next teleporter, because we want to see what's going on over there. ;)

So, there is one path again, but only 2 paths branch off. In the first branch, is the puzzle. This puzzle is the best part of this whole game, and should be praised! Let me move on... After that is a little branch off that holds a few giant guards and one crystal, the one that I missed at the end. Now on the other path is something simple, but works like a charm. Wonder wonder... but I wont tell you! It's kinda like the little thing in the other teleporter that I didn't like, but upgraded and much better. It has more enemies, and different ways to pass it. But it still has a lot of crystals. Just check out this game and see for yourself how good this game is.

After-Thoughts

I expected a bit more because of the little things that made this game not the best. But this game was still good, and I have to give he/she that.

My-Thoughts

This needed a few touch ups, like testing the game a bit more. If you did, you would've found a few mistakes.

Scores

Action - 4/5

Puzzle - 3/5

Gameplay - 3/5

This game was pretty good if I say so myself, but had a few flaws that made this game not the best. Oops! I forgot to add the overall score. This is 3.5/5. It was okay, but had a lot of things wrong with it.
