Aah, another first, my first Review for [WR]. For my 28th Review I'm Reviewing a Game with a name that's gonna be Trouble to Spell. It uses Symbols that in the Reviewing Editor are used for Italics. Lets try anyway, for my 28th Review I am going to Review ~ShadowWorld~ (Saves Review) Oh, it's only a Draft. Plus, I forgot. This is the 2nd Review Week Review (Remember this is not official) Anyway, there's your rubbish intro. Lets get down to the Review

Pre-Thoughts

I've never played any of 8Bit's Games before but judging by his Attitude on the Community I'm expecting to make decent Games, Like most Mature People do. But then, you did hear me. I said ~Most~ (Bold seems to Glitch with me so I don't use it) So, there's a Chance he does make Bad Games and that ShadowWorld is here just to disappoint. And every Good Game maker has their Bad Games, lets hope 8Bit is a decent Game maker and this isn't the Chosen one

Thumbnail

Darkness, the Game looks like something with a Dark Plot and a Dark Game. But, that's the Colour. The Game itself, looks like a Puzzle Game. Which I like, it also looks like a Challenge and something with a decent amount of Action. Judging by the Thumbnail ShadowWorld looks like a Promising Adventure which I'm looking forward to playing. And it seems his Maturity (And Humour) hasn't played tricks on me.

Story

Yes, this time we have one! The Game is about a 10 Year Old who enters the Shadow World (Which he made up, or stole the idea of someone, or something) and can't fall asleep. Which he then does. Which, if you ask me is an Epic fail. But, it never tells you what happened to him in that Time. You just play the Game and you know what happens when you have the Epic Fail of doing what you were told NOT to do. So, you know what I'm gonna say 8Bit. Congrats on making a Game with an Amazing Story about a boy having Epic Fails. But, is the rest of the Game as good as this Story? You'll find out... After the Break!

Gameplay

Yeah, I'm taking a Break (Bell Rings) Finished! The answer, is yes. It's got a good Challenge to it and it's just amazing to search around. The one thing I especially love about ShadowWorld is the fact that you're always doing something. It also meets all the factors I cover in Gameplay (Except maybe time) I can't complain for Gameplay. From the Start to end (I've seen all the Actual Gameplay but not beaten the Game) it's fantastic. Lets hope 8Bit continues to good work in Scenery

Scenery

Meh! It's nothing Special. He used the Default Map which really does Restrict use of Scenery. And the use of Trees does not impress. But then, everything does work together to create an amazing Effect for Shadow World, a Dark effect. So Scenery isn't all Negative. 8Bit made a good job (Even if he didn't change the Map) with what he could use. It forced you to use your Radar, even if you know the Map, you could easily get lost. Apart from the few Minor Cons, good work with the Scenery 8Bit! Next up, Boring old Placement

Placement

Yeah, boring old Placement. I didn't find anything I didn't really like about Placement, nor anything that made me go "Wow!" Block Placement added a Challenge, Enemies helped you at the start of the Game, Health acted more as a Trap by the way it was Placed. Yeah, stuff I would've expected from 8Bit. I can't say it was great (Compared to Past Experiences) but I can't say it was bad (As it wasn't) If he'd come up with some original ideas for Placement I could've easily made a Decision though. A piece of constructive criticism for the future (You probably knew that though) But still, good job :)

Puzzles & Traps

Exploration is the main Puzzle for me, all you know is that you need a Flag and a Red Key. But not where any of it is, so you have to look around a bit. But that's not easy to find everything you need to do what you need to do. Due to the fact that once you are seen you are forced to run but whatever you do just isn't enough. Which, definately makes you think a little. Also, finding the Yellow Key to get to the red Keys is a Puzzle, the Key is hidden so well you just can't help but not notice it. And Traps, as I said in Placement. There is Health dotted around the Place, and just collecting one Piece of it is enough to send you to a Fail (Which means you probably fell asleep like the 10 Year Old) So, 8Bit has met my Expectations yet again in Puzzles & Traps. Good work! I especially enjoyed the Traps that were in ShadowWorld

Pros

Puzzles, Gameplay, Traps

Cons

Trees looked a little boring on Backround, Another 2 Cons needed. But who cares?

Overall: ________/__________

ShadowWorld gets an 8/10, which is a decent Score. ShadowWorld has a bit of everything needed for a good Game is certainly a Feature Worthy experience and I look forward to playing more of 8BitGamer's Games. It seems little effort was needed to make ShadowWorld but that doesn't act as a Con at all, as the Game was still amazing. Sometimes, Games that have effort put in are the worst

Thank you for reading this Review, and I hope you enjoyed it
