Epic Game Drop which is commonly abreviated to EGD is a competition set every year on the Sploder Forums where a lot of people create big and really good games and drop them(publish them) on the same day onto the Sploder MainSite which is this website you are on right now. EGD was made in 2008 and it was origionally ran by tookewl. At first they still created big games and published them on the same day but, the competition part was not even added until 2009. EGD has inspired the making of a whole bunch of competitions. Such as Supplementary Game Drop or SGD for short, which was made by mat7772 and is like a smaller version of Epic Game Drop and is set twice each year and also Game Fest, which is based off of the origional ways of EGD with no competition. Many other compititions were made as well and many more will probably be made. When the first EGD was made, the only creator they had was the Classic Shooter Creator with just the ship games. The Creator was also still in it's BETA at the time.
:::: This Game is a tribute to EGD and is also made for it. Please remember that the story of this game is not real, it is just based off of real things. But this description is still real though.
