Sorry for the lame title, lol. I promise I'll give you a better one next time... WITH TURLES! :D Okay, so time to put the serious hat on... which is blue, oh yeah. Anyway, enough with my chit-chat and chat-chit, you're here for a review right? Yes, you are. So, 13th review, and on a game named Xepher, interesting title, but will it be an interesting game? Why are you asking me?

Pre-thoughts:

Ooooh, it's jeff385! Jeff, in my honest opinion, is underrated. He makes some fantastic puzzle Platformers, which blow my mind away, so expectations have rose high. And with his 3 other featured Platformers, looks like expectations will not drop anytime soon. Oh, and I heard this was based around puzzle, so it appears my expectations are around 4/5, let's see if I'm correct.

Thumbnail:

The thumbnail looks attractive, but I don't see any puzzles so far, apart from the perm blocks. But, the scenery looks wonderful, and jeff doesn't usually have the scenery to make me go wow, so that's definitely something new. Now, I'm just going to click on the game now...

Review:

This game is stunning. It's a full out puzzle game that is so puzzling that it's puzzling to the fact where I am puzzled what's a puzzle or not... and these puzzles were frustrating. They were so frustrating in fact, that I pretended to be an ape... no, not pretended. Oh wait, secrets are supposed to stay a secret... Never mind. Anyway, these puzzles felt like an improvement from Black Widow at times, which is actually exceptional work, considering Black Widow is a game in the EGL, go jeff, humiliate Black Widow, lol. Anyway, traps were also added into the game, and jeff even used keys as traps... I like it. :D

Placement was to perfection, well, NEAR perfection. I always find something to criticise, because I'm evil. EVIL EVIL EVIL. So yes, what was bad about placement? The only main complaint I had was the laser beam wouldn't work for me at times, or maybe I'm missing a puzzle in it. Oh well, I shall discover the truth soon... ish. Everything else though was fine because it fitted in with puzzles or it was just a normal block I had to walk on.

Scenery. Really, this wouldn't effect the gameplay at all, well, unless there weren't torches, because then it would've been DARK DARK EVER SO DARK CAPS LOLOLOL. -Drifts away into pixie land- Oh little pixies, give me magic fairy dust so I can flyyyyyyyy. -Wakes back to real world- -insert cuss words here-. Okay, I've had my fun, now to be serious again, if that's possible for me. ANYWAY, it was entertaining, because there were lions. Oh the kitty cats make so good of scenery in games, because you can put torches behind them, which was what jeff did. The rest was simple back walls, but nothing else was needed, because then the game would've been to busy... scenery wise. So everything was excellent here, -thumbs up-

I really can only base creativity on scenery and puzzles here. We'll start off with scenery... meh! Backgrounds and lions with torches, not very creative. But honestly, I really don't care about creativity with scenery, so this won't affect the scores at all. So puzzles. As I said before, they were basically additional improvements from Black Widow, although there were some that weren't. So, it's more over to the "great!" side, well done. -Croud makes applause-

Pros:

Puzzles and traps: The puzzles were creative and puzzled me, and the traps were also creative and... trapped me. :D

Placement: Since this was a puzzle game, I expected hazards to be placed well, as well as blocks. Both these were done well, yippee! Great job jeff!

Creativity: The puzzles weren't only puzzling, but creative too! -Gasp-

Scenery: Lions r kewlz and looked nice with torches behind them. Yayz! :D

Cons:

Uncreative scenery: This was just an excuse to put something in the cons category, lol. I really don't care about uncreative scenery, so keep going if you want.

Ratings:

Action: NA/NA

Puzzles and traps: 4/5. Some great puzzles, but perhaps some more puzzles that weren't improvements from Black Widow would've been nice.

Placement: 4.75/5. The blocks were placed well, but sometimes hazards weren't placed appropriately, and sometimes wouldn't work. (For example, the laser beam.)

Scenery: 4.5/5. Lionz r kewlzio, okay?

Difficulty: 4.75/5. The difficulty was placed at such a good level. It was completely possible, and it was also placed at such a level where the game would become addictive. Yayz!

Overall: 4.75/5

Conclusion:

Xepher is an amazing game that I thoroughly enjoyed. It's pretty much perfect, but with more creativity it easily would've got higher. No no no, don't think this game ISN'T creative, because it IS. Foolish ape. Oh, and also, LIONS R KEEEWWWWWLLLL.

Feature worthy? Easily. I don't think I need to state my my reasons why, as I have talked enough and you're probably near to death right now.

Final message: LIONS R KEWLZ

Final final message: comment on dis, i want 2 kno if im a gewd reviewer!!!onehundredandeleven!!!
