Smash It is a game created by mat7772

This is Myownself back in black...I mean back in blue....I mean...erm...never mind. Anyways, what am I here to do, oh that's right, I'm here to write a review. MY BAD. Anyways, today I will be reviewing Smash It by Mat7772. I heard from people on the forums that this was a good game. I also know Mat pretty well on the forums and I know he's a great game creator so I decided to take a crack at it. The question is if this game was truly SMASHING.

What is the gist of the game?

In this game, your goal is to get the grey ball over to the trophy. You do this by shooting arrows at certain areas making a path for the ball. There are plenty of different obstacles and such, but we'll get to this later.

How does the game look?

Well, I have to say, this game isn't the best looking game on Sploder, but in no way is it the worst. They're pretty simple graphics, in fact quite a few of them are prefabs. The question is, when do the graphics actually become bad. Graphics usually become bad when they get in the way of the actual gameplay. In Smash It, the graphics don't get in the way at all, and are placed precisely where they should be. So yeah, um, on to more important matters.

Was the game FUN

I've already mentioned above what the goal of the game is, but now I want to get more in depth. When I first saw that the name of the game was Smash It, I thought that I would have to break a part a level in a certain amount of time, and in a way, I was right. You do have to get rid of parts of the level, but as mentioned before, that's not the main goal. Once again the goal is to get a ball to the trophy at another part of the level. To do this you used arrows to push the ball and other objects to make a path for your ball. While this game was puzzle oriented it also had a lot to do with your coordination with a mouse. You had to be fast and precise because there would be various arrows on the map to get too but only a certain amount of time to do so. I often found myself getting angry because some arrows were so small and hard to get to. This was necessary though because the puzzles themselves were pretty easy. Overall the gameplay had few flukes and I enjoyed the game quite a bit.

What I liked about the game

This game, while not having original graphics, was made very organized. It also had a unique feel to it, and while the puzzles weren't too complex, the speed element kept you on your toes.

What I didn't like about the game

Unfortunately, I do have a few complaints. Do to the short amount of time you had in each level, so of the arrows were hard to reach. I also wish that it did have some more creative graphics.
