Achromatic is a game created by charismatic

Well, hello fellow Sploderians. I'm bored today so I'm going to review a game by a good buddy Charasmatic. You may know him as Willturner/Ohnine or some of his other various alts. Enough about that bleep though. Let's get onto a the review

Concept:

With the use of the wonderfully new platformer with custom graphics functionality, Charismatic has been able to come with a brand spankin' new concept. In this game the whole map is made up of flickering black blocks. The only thing that Charismatic is missing are the warnings telling people NOT TO PLAY THIS GAME OF THEY ARE bleepE TO SEIZURES...

Puzzles: I didn't run into any "puzzles" like you find in 80% of the featured plats. When I look at this game, I see the whole map itself as a puzzle. With the flickering you have to pay attention to what you are doing in order to progress in the game. There are bounding leaps over molting lava that you must make. You must make daring moves through obstacles as they flicker in and out of your view. AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DO NOT USE YOUR RADAR. IT RUINS THE WHOLE GAME....like I'm not even kidding....it will ruin the experience.

Enemies: The game doesn't have too many enemies but in some sequences you will find turrets that, (annoyingly if I may add) screw up your jumps. I also enjoyed seeing something like bats FLICKERING IN AND OUT OF VIEW. It was cool...I don't know why I liked it so much, but ya....cool!

Difficulty: Did I mention how hard this game is yet. For real, it's HARD. It's not even the fact that there are a lot of dangerous areas that can end your life. There are sequences where all you have to do is jump your way up, AND IT'S SO HARD....LIKE I WISH JUMPS IN THE PLATFORMER WERE SMOOTHER. Despite the difficulty I found this game very addicting which kept me playing.

~Well, as you can see, I really enjoyed this game. It's fresh and unique. Despite it's agonizing difficulty I found myself wanting more and more...(TWSS...sorry...had to) I think this game deserved it's feature for sure.
