Free Runner Neon is a game created by lcraniuml

Hi, today i will be reviewing Free Runner Neon by Lcraniuml. He asked for a short review, so i guess i'll do just that. Beaten in 8:21.

Pre-Thoughts

Very, very high. I've played Cranium's games before, and they were really cool. Also, this was featured when i played it. The ratings from other people were very high.

Block Placement

The Block Placement was mainly simple and sophisticated. It could be cramped or given to much space, or just enough. Usually, it was just enough. 10 levels of big and small blocks. Not much to say here, just that sometimes, for example on level 1, it was a bit cramped.

Scenery

The Scenery was basicly black. Black background, black insides, (Besides for SOME hazards) and black character. However, the outline was always a different colour, which, fits with the title, Free Runner NEON. It was extremely colourful and effective. Coins/scores usually had yellow outlining, which, obviously, was the right colour.

Score and Health Placement and Character Choice

Scores were ALWAYS placed in the right position. Never, ever wrong. They were clear to see, due to yellow outlining, and a good size. There was no health, though, but it was not exactly nessecary, since there was always a retry button. Anymore health would make the 10 levels to easy, anyway, considering it would usually a one-mistake-death. The character was always consistent and good. No errors, besides that it could've been a circle of some sort. But the normal format was good.

Enemy and Hazard Placement

0 Enemies were in Free Runner Neon, which was probally the best choice. It would seem to wierd in the seemingly small area given. Hazards were mainly red-outlined rectangles, or just fully-red, all of which were placed nicely.

Scores

Block Placement: 3.75 / 5

Scenery: 4 / 5

Health and Score Placement and Character Choice: 4.5 / 5

Enemy and Hazard Placement: 4.5 / 5

Overall: 4.1875 / 5 - Excellent

Worthy Of That Feature? Yes, definetly.
