Ogglee Presents, The sequel to Blind Angst .-.-.- ---ACHLUOPHOBIA---I’m up next. Well, to be fair, I’m always up. I’m the rat, the ugly, beaten up monster. That’s what everyone thinks of me anyway. I’ve been through the old, rotting temple. I could’ve sworn it would’ve fallen on me if I didn’t make it in time, heh. He’s coming up to me. The man who forces all against his will.
“Miyamoto, your next assignment,” says the Sensei.
“What is it?” I ask reassuringly.
“You’re going through a temple…”
That sounds easy. I could do that easily. Just walk through the temple, kill a few bats, then I’m done. Blah blah blah, it’s all the same for everyone. But Sensei wasn’t finished.
“You’re going through the temple, no light. Pitch-black.”
…I took a pause. “Uh, Sensei, WHY exactly can’t I have a torch? It sounds da'mn impossible.” I said.
“The temple will force you out with a mighty gust of wind. If you add light to the temple, you’re dead in two seconds.” The Sensei said.
“Now go on, do it now. We need to find the gold, our treasure! We could become famous if we accomplish our mission! It’s rare to find such an amazing treasure!”
Ok, right, just to get some gold? What for? He doesn’t tell me, I don’t have much time. I must go. What lurks in the dark? I hope there are at least a few torches to help me. You see, I have a fear of the darkness. A very big fear. I have a little thing called achluophobia. I don’t think I’ll last in there for a millisecond.
"Oh, and by the way?" the Sensei says reassuringly. I look back at him.
"Remember how you went through that temple? How hell was as difficult as that? Well, hell just caught up again, only this time, it's only to be a lot more dangerous. I wish you good luck." He says.
I look back at all the soldiers, laughing at me.
"Rat! Rat! Rat!" they keep chanting. I run off through the darkness of the woods, and I find the temple. I might as well hold my breath and go in...
