Insanity...

Waking up from my nap was difficult, but I had to, or else I’d be late for my outing. As I was rubbing my eyes my surroundings were becoming clearer to me. The world looks different, I feel different. What could this mean? I walk around and discover that I have a few tools that may come in handy later on.

A plentiful amount of obstacles come my way, trying to get through them was difficult but, I was slowly discovering the use of my tools and how I get past these obstacles using my tools; it was fun. Some challenges were seemingly impossible to surpass, but I had to give it another shot. After a while of trying to surpass these challenges, I finally get exhausted and decided to take a break, and take a short walk from where I’ve been through. Taking a look at the place, it was just a really big and simple purple place, nothing really struck my sight. It’s about 8:18 PM right now, and that’s been a long walk back and forth just to take better look at the place. I decide to try to surpass that obstacle, walking towards the point I stopped at, something came towards me. Surprisingly this robot has the same tools as I did, and it moved the same way I did. Wait, that means, I, I, I’m a ROBOT?! That’s insane. There was noooo way that could have happened, one nap changed FOREVER. I’ve become a thrash! Everything was speeding up, this time I had to be quick or else I’ll be dead for sure. I can’t think straight right after discovering that, running around in circles doesn’t help either. This was becoming impossible, I was losing hope. At first doing these puzzles were fun, but now they've become my worst nightmare. I just thought I had to solve some puzzles, with some enemies and hazards, but now I’m surrounded. I wanted to give up, but I started this, so I have to end this too. I was exhausted, but I want to keep trying. This purple room of insanity, how did I get here? Why am I here?

It’s been three days, I keep trying, but it’s impossible. I haven’t found any way of escape nor have I found anyone else in here but me and some enemies. I don’t have anything I can use to call anyone for help, I just had firepower. It’s cool, but I’d rather go home than shoot and think all day. All right, I’ll give this another shot. YES! I got through! Where next? I locate a teleporter and without thinking, I go right in. I was surrounded yet again, but this time, I was unable to move. My systems told me I was taking too much damage, but I still managed. I was overjoyed to find health packs, a shield and this new ally. It wasn’t long till my systems couldn’t handle the damage and shut down. I fell to the ground, I couldn’t move, I couldn’t see anything. Moments later, I could hear noise. Beeping noises, I try to open my eyes, but I couldn’t. Moments later I was slowly beginning to open my eyes, this time I could only see white. Where could I be now?

So that’s the end of my story review. Hope you liked it; I was just trying something different. I’d appreciate opinions may it be bad or good. But wait, this review isn't done yet, onto the scoring.

Scoring:

Creativity:

____.5/_____:

-Wake was very creative; theimage had made some puzzles I’ve never seen before. He also hasd some old puzzles and traps in the game, but it doesn’t make much of a difference in creativity in my opinion. As for the game design, I mentioned in the story, it was nothing special, it was just plain. Overall this game is very creative in terms of puzzles and traps.

Addictiveness:

_____/_____:

-This game kept me hooked for three days straight. It was fun and it made me think.

Placements:

_____/_____:

-Placements were excellent. Enough said.

Pros:

>>Puzzles

>>Placements

>>Addictive

Cons:

>>Design could have been improved.

>>Game could’ve been made a little longer.

Summary:

Wake is excellent. I couldn’t stop playing this game. Though the design could be greatly improved, and the game could have been made longer, it’s still an excellent game. Definitely feature worthy in my opinion. EGL worthy? To be honest, no. Wake is an excellent game, but I doubt that it can get into the EGL. Overall this game receives 5/5 for me. I’d love to see more of your work, theimage.
