Sansander97’s 26th Review

I will be reviewing the quest by apexcliquemonsta. I was scrolling through the featured games list when I stumbled upon this game. I realized that there weren’t any reviews on it at all which was surprising to me because it had been a featured game for quite a while now. It was created on December 11th so it is a fairly new game. I have never played a game by apexcliquemonsta yet so this is a judging experience. But I know now to judge someone by the first game of theirs that you play. This game really isn’t worthy of a feature.

I was a little bit surprised that the quest was featured. In my opinion, it really shouldn’t be. The quest starts with you in a confined space like most platformers start. The quest is rated 10 difficulty stars and truly is extremely difficult. I ran onto a small, protruding ledge and gathered two sets of grenades, a gun and some armor. As I jumped back to where I started and headed down the staircase, I noticed a random ice spike underneath the entire building. I ran to the right of the building with no floor tiles adding any kind of comfort feeling. After the floor tile less path, I entered another building. This one is incredibly huge. I was forced to defeat some newer enemies that were created with the platformer updates. Let me tell you that they aren’t too fun to defeat. I then took a boring path to the right. I then fell through a weak floor tile and entered a room with two ninja boys, a big sword and two health packs. I gathered the big sword quickly and used it to defeat the two ninja boys. After that little side track, I wall climbed out of the floor and found myself face to face with another enemy. I spotted a mace sitting on top of a pedestal. I have no idea how anyone is able to retrieve this. This enemy kicked me and I went flying almost to the first building that I started this game in. I thought, “WTH did the enemy do that to me? It hurt my feelings.” I then found myself filling with anger. I ran back at the enemy and killed him almost instantaneously. I then noticed a bunch of random scenery on a wall. I then entered a new room. This one is mostly a small puzzle. You have to climb up the blocks that are very difficult to get passed. After the first set of blocks, the game started getting really frustrating and boring. This literally is the most boring game I remember playing on Sploder.

The quest has tons of scenery items don’t get me wrong, but it is just scattered all over the place. The background can really get boring after a while. It is just the same old grey tiled background at every point in the game. I encourage you to play this game and see what I am talking and complaining about with the scenery. It really doesn’t make the game any more fun to play. The scenery doesn’t enhance the quest, it just ruins my chances of a feature consideration. How is it possible that a game with such poor scenery can be featured? The world may never know.

The quest really isn’t too epic and is verging on the epic fail side. I don’t think that the quest should be featured. It doesn’t stand a chance to any other featured game. Apexcliquemonsta can change this by listening to my suggestions and going through with them. What suprises me is how zglitch is able to beat this game in 17 seconds! It is very long and it easily can take more than 2 minutes. At least that is what I took.

Suggestions:

1. Adjust the scenery.

2. Replace the human enemies with all robotic enemies.

3. Capitalize each letter of the name.

4. Get rid of any unnecessary items and power ups such as the mace sitting on the pedestal.

My Final Burn:

This really isn’t the best game that I have ever played but if my suggestions are carried out, it can possibly become a feature worthy game. I just don’t feel that it is ready for a feature quite yet.
