Dimensional Reality is a game created by hadiclank21

Hello and welcome to my review my name is Senbaki so lets get started!

Game: Dimensional Reality

Maker: Hadiclank21

Type: Shooter

PRE-THOUGHTS

Ahh, my favourite section, the pre-thoughts. Getting this started well Hadiclank was recently un-banned and from the looks of it, he is trying his best to rebuild himself and a great member. Me and Hadi have nearly been friends since we started this website and I have always thought as him my Sploder brother and he has definitely shown a good personality to me also. Hadiclank has lots of friends that are on Sploder that he knows in real life like Startrekzooka, JupiterCriez and Faisal908. He has made quite alot of stunning games back in 2010 and some have fascinated many members including myself. Hadi has only recently got his first feature on Sploder which I guess he is very proud about. He normally talks about how much he loves bunnies and cats which makes him a very caring owner for his pets. XD. Hadiclank was not only in trouble about a year ago but also was in trouble via the forums and this was just about last week about something like he got hacked or something, I can't remember.

THUMBNAIL

Related to the picture I would say this is a nice piece of art made by him. Normally a good thumbnail makes many people curious to what the game is and they click on it and you get an easy 1 view. The thumbnail is one of my favourite parts of the game as you can make something that attracts other members to the game, and this thumbnail isn't very detailed but it is still cool in my opinion. Actually starting the thumbnail paragraph, it isn't very detailed like I said a minute ago so this will be a struggle to actually get past this section so now it's like playing Mario with all the levels and now I'm on level 2! XD. This game only has about 40 enemies involved which makes the game look EXTREME hard. You can see about 8 mortars, 20 magnet enemies and 12 cruisers. It actually surprises me on how people could beat it. Each side has a path going up, down, left and right to a mysterious place where lives a rabbit who eats you. There is also a few puzzles straight away from the looks of it as there is many breakable barriers there and many doors so looks like a good puzzle! Now lets get to the proper thing about a review!

REVIEW

While sat down drinking I will write about this section so wish me luck. Normally massive games like this have ALOT of lag and annoyingly this is one of them. The amount of lag can be really frustrating but this only happened with my connection but it might work well for you. This part is going to be all about criticism so Hadi have an absolute lovely time reading this and next time will be even worse. Nah, I would never do that to a friend, or am I joking? ;|. This also is a game where you get soooo far into it and then you get stuck with enemies swarming around you like some mad Bees because you stole their honey. Not like a wife I mean like what Bees produce. Well this game-play is one of my delicious little tiny snacks. My snacks are normally the nicest kind of snacks you can buy through going to ASDA. Is it Asda or ASDA? Anyways who cares!? At the moment I am in an amazing mood so I will be so happy to write this. :D

SCENERY

Ummm.....Scenery it will actually alright as on Shooters you only have that boring plain one-colour background that people normally get bored of, why can't we have rainbows included in our games!? Well to be honest there wasn't much detail of it as there isn't much to put down. If you're thinking that I will talk about the background over and over again well I will talk about it a bit but now it's time for a chat about the blocks he actually put down. They were really boring to be honest, I know Hadiclank can't help that the scenery was boring but he could of added more of it and maybe decorated it by putting blocks over blocks and hidden parts in them and then I would be pleased with it. Many of this game has those circle barriers which is one of my favourite scenery objects. Although scenery can cause too much of a hassle getting is started and certainly annoying when you put too much down as it's like you can't even move your ship a tiny little inch.

PUZZLES & TRAPS

Well this is the thing about this section which is the hardest bit about this review which will always remain in my brain for the rest of my life. This game has quite alot of puzzles but the amount is a good enough amount. Around about 4 puzzles in each path and then involving into another 4 paths and then another 4 and then, why even bother when you get the point and I think this happens in each path but I can't get past the first because of the stupid lag! And scientists discovered that the first puzzle in the game is the middle just like I said but it is easy to solve, but still it's a puzzle. :P. Well this game was made before the SwitchPolys were even invented on Sploder and before I existed on this website. Sadly. The traps are pretty much a new thing to me after missing two years of game making on Sploder. This game also includes one of my favourite puzzles which is the spider keys, there just so fun! It's got like it's own little cage so it can't get out. Luckily! I normally make little games with spiders trapped in cages so I can just destroy them over and over. Really, you should try it. Getting of the silly parts altogether these puzzles are probably recommended about 2 star puzzles as they are okay compared to like Cali's 4 star puzzles and well I don't wan't to get too overboard but these puzzles were okay, which this game is better than any of mine.

ENEMY PLACEMENT

Well I have to say this before he reads actually what I have to say about the enemy placement, the placement surprised me, not in a bad way but in a good way. He may not have tried hard on this but I think this was some of the best enemy placement ever! Although the starting the placement was like it was messed up as it was all unsteady and wasn't balanced with the other enemies. That part of the game could be reorganized to look like a much better game and could improve the thumbnail too. Well everything was placed well just like I should have said about the scenery as the placement is great but not just perfect, yet. I guess he has most likely improved with his shooter making skills as he seems to be a successful member. Hopefully on his next game he doesn't make it wobbly and unbalanced cause sometimes it may affect the looks and could have big affect to your games too. But apart from that it is very well made.

POSITIVES

-Enemy placement

-Scenery

-Enemies

-Difficulty

NEGATIVES

-Scruff

-Too open

-Lag

I think all these could be worked on but as this game was made a long time ago I guess you have improved alot since then.

RATINGS

Now here is the ratings of the game:

Challenge: ____/_____

This was a very hard game, well I mostly found the lag a problem. The furthest I could get to was the top path.

Item placement: ___/_____

That would be a tough one as the part I got up to there was hardly any items for health, when the game makes you struggle to complete it.

Enemy placement: _____/_____

Like I said I just loved the placement of it and the technique of it.

Puzzles and creativity: ___/_____

There were quite alot of puzzles but I would rate them 2 star puzzles.

Overall: _______________/____________________

That may be too awkward to read so the score was 15/20 which was a great score.

FEATURE WORTHY

I love this part....It's really up to the Editors as they are more capable of knowing what "feature worthy" actually means. In my opinion I would say no as there were a few things about this game that let me down which I say he could improve (My 5th time I said that now). I like this game and I think people say it's great and that is pretty true. Some people would say it is but most would disagree, maybe review worthy but not feature, as it doesn't have the potential to have a feature. Although this has been a close one and I'm sure that one day this will get reviewed. Maybe make it longer and improve the game then I think Editors might feature it, to be honest do whatever you can to improve it, just anything will make this have a bigger chance.
