[This is part 10 of the Shadow Quest series]. Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic the Hedgehog have successfully defeated Eggman's EGG DRAGON. Dr. Eggman gets out of the smoldering machinery with the help of his hovercraft as seen in most Sonic games. {Eggman}: "Blast you, Sonic! You have foiled my plans for the last time! And I will make sure you will not live to see me recreate my beautiful Eggmanland!" {Sonic, in a bored tone}: "And how long are you going to keep up that idea?" {Shadow, to Sonic}: Doesn't matter. The real threat is Dark Gaia, and we have to get to him before the doctor could harness the Eon beast's power to attempt to rebuild his Empire." {Eggman, to Shadow}: "Ho ho ho, Shadow! I like the way you think! That type of knowledge would be great in Eggmanland! Join me and we shall rule this planet!" {Sonic, to Eggman, in a laughing tone}: "Ha! I'm sorry Darth Vader, but I don't think Shadow would like to join the likes of you!" {Darth Vader, out of nowhere}: "Jerk."(then he just walks away.) {Shadow}: "Okay, back to reality..." {Eggman}: "Oh, Sonic, I suggest you get going now because Dark Gaia has been summoned by me and I think he will destroy you four (referring to Sonic, Shadow, Tails, and Chip) if he detects you here." Eggman then starts to fly away in his hovercraft, laughing maniacally. {Shadow, to Tails}: "Tails, we have to get out of here." {Sonic, adding on}: "And FAST! There's no telling what Dark Gaia will do to us!" {Tails}: "Well, I have a few escape pods, but I really doubt they will work because I haven't used them in years due to malfunctioning." {Chip, nervously}: "Umm... you guys? Dark Gaia is heading this way! I can see him right over there!" Sonic then starts to shake violently. {Shadow, noticing Sonic's vibration}: "Uh oh. Tails! It doesn't matter if the escape pods have malfunctioned in the past! We need some transportation NOW! Just look at Sonic! He's transforming! We must get him to wherever the sun is!" {Tails, in a panic}: "All right you guys, let's go! We're heading to Angel Island to meet up with Knuckles! He'll know what to do!" The four now attempt to navigate through the minions of Dark Gaia to head to the escape pods. (You can play as either Shadow the Hedgehog, or Sonic the 'almost-werehog' Hedgehog)
