[This is part 18 of the Shadow Quest series.] Sonic and his friends have defeated Dr. Eggman's Egg Spider, forcing Eggman to flee in his Eggpod. {Eggman}: "You'll regret this, Sonic the Hedgehog!" {Knuckles}: "Well, that takes care of him." {Sonic}: "Meh. That's Eggman as always: all bark and no bite." {Blaze, sadly}: "Yeah, but he DID disintegrate Shadow..." {Silver}: "Well yeah, but not all hope is lost. Shadow told us to find Rouge and E-123 Omega. He said that they could be a big help." {Sonic}: "Right. I say we find Rouge first." {Knuckles}: "Why her first!? Why can't we just find Omega and FORGET that bat!?" {Sonic}: "Because she will be easier to find. Now, I know you're anxious to see your girlfriend, but-" {Knuckles, in anger}: "Why you little..." {Silver}: "Will you two just shut up already!? We're supposed to find Shadow's closest friends and we're all here listening to your arguing! Aren't you guys tired of this constant bickering?" {Sonic and Knuckles}: "No." {Blaze}: "Sonic, now you're in charge since Shadow is gone. Where should we look for Rouge?" {Sonic}: "If I know Rouge as well as I think I do, I'll say she's in Empire City looking for treasure." {Knuckles}: "Of course, but why Empire City?" {Tails}: "Empire City has the largest gold mine in the world. There are also crystals and gems that she could be searching for." {Sonic}: "Perfect! I have a chaos emerald that can teleport us to the mines. Knuckles, catch!" Knuckles grabs the chaos emerald in mid air. {Knuckles}: "Chaos Control!" The team teleports to Empire City's gold mine. {Sonic}: "Alright, team! Let's rock!" (You are playing as: Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles 'Tails' Prower, Knuckles the Echidna, Silver the Hedgehog, and Blaze the Cat.)
