Crash had successfully beaten the Egg Primate. Meanwhile, Sonic, and Cortex had been knocked out at the bottom of the pyrimid. They both have woken up after a about a half hour. Cortex had then found a Power Crystal right in front of him! Cortex: "Well, well. A Power Crystal." Cortex had then grabbed the crystal. Cortex: "Yes! The Crystal is mine!!" Sonic then saw Cortex with the crystal. Sonic then had went into a deep trance. He was then trying to get the crystal in machine-like movement. Cortex: "*Shriek* Back away you mindless fool! The material of the crystal, must've driven you CRYSTAL CRAZY!!" Sonic was Crystal Crazy. Crystal Crazy is when someone stars at the crystal, then goes after it like a zombie. Cortex had then teleported himself away from Sonic. You are now playing as: Crystal Crazy Sonic The Hedgehog. Mission: Get the crystal from Cortex!
