READ THIS AS YOU PLAY EACH LEVEL!!! Bit of backstory: There were six young koopalings, named Cassie, Acer, Orion, Daffodil, Lavender, and Ace. These six would grow into valiant heroes, who would throw the perilous and power-hungry Brea (Silhouette)'s plans for world domination out the window. Brea had been able to steal a wand from someone, and she cursed it to turn its spells of benevolence and life into darkness and death. Brea, after having been defeated as an adult, manages to relay a message to her younger self- to eradicate the heroes before they can eradicate her. She receives a fraction of her future self's powers and uses it to trap each koopaling in their own mind- a construct of their nightmares brought to life. INTRO: Welcome to Colours- you play as six turtle children who must overcome their dreams and defeat the nefarious Silhouette! LEVEL ONE: Cassie awakens in what appears to be a jungle area- it had been overtaken by moss and greens. An instinct within herself, of her own mind and spirit, relay to her that she must escape. That this somehow is not real, and that there is an escape. LEVEL TWO: Cassie was able to touch the orb, and it teleported her out of her nightmare. She was able to extend her spirit to Acer's, causing the latter to hear Cassie's voice telling him what to do. "Find the orb... touch it... and you will be able to deliver a message to someone..." LEVEL THREE: Orion suddenly finds himself in what appears to be a corrupted, purple and pink shaded version of the world. At first overwhelmed by fear, it quickly turns to determination and indignation as he realizes his sisters could be in danger. As if on cue, Acer tells him what to do via a spirit message. LEVEL FOUR: Daffodil had been in her little "world" for a bit, but she was too prudent to really try anything. Upon hearing her brother's voice, she looks around for him until he explains he isn't actually "there". Orion tells her how to get out of her mind. LEVEL FIVE: Poor Lavender was already freezing half to death in her wintery dream, but at the same time the frosty weather didn't feel natural. The coolness on her skin seemed artificial. Her suspicions were confirmed when she heard her older sister Daffy explain what was going on. Leafy stands up, takes a deep breath, and braces herself for her mission. LEVEL SIX: Ace is the final member of the team to be awoken, by Leafy's desperate cries and near sobs for the former to "please wake up". Ace complies, and Leafy is able to tell him what to do. LEVEL SEVEN: The koopalings were able to escape their dreams but have not yet exited their minds... Silhouette realized they had all escaped and she quickly creates a room so that she can properly finish off the team once and for all. "Say your goodbyes..." Silhouette sadistically drawled, brandishing a wand and zapping herself with it, before tossing it aside and reveling in her improved power. However, the team was prepared- they concentrated all their mind power and were able to become one single entity, with the same willpower. They had one objective: "BLAST THIS GIRL!!!" (Mostly, courtesy of Daffodil). OUTRO: The team wakes up in each of their houses and immediately call each other on their ShellPhones (hahaha :D). They meet atop a hill and discuss what had happened- some, like Ace and Acer, were skeptical it was more than a coincidence, while others like Cassie and Leafy took it quite seriously. Whatever happened, the team agrees to at least consider the possibilities and foreshadowings of their experience. They sit on the hill and just decide to relax not as a team, but as friends. ----CREDITS---- This game was made out of love for my 5 best (intrnet?) friends! I love ya guys! The light graphic thingy in Level 5 belongs to sceptile! None of these OCs sans Ace are mine (but I had permission to use them).
