Yet Another Epic Game From Jeoffffff

Pre-thoughts

Jeoffffff is one of my favorite game creators whether he is making a shooter or a platformer. I've always loved them no matter what. This is a review for fablequest 2. I'm sure lots of people remember the first FableQuest. This is the sequel. Will it top the other one or will it let us down? I guess we'll find out.

Review

This was a great game by Jeoffffff. You start off in a small building already in lava. As soon as you start, you'll lose at least some health. Acceleration is the key to that. After that, you can go left or right, but you really have no choice to the right due to the fact that you need the blue and green keys. There were some good hidden items in this game. I'm not gonna say where they are, but there is a item that is hidden at the beginning that really separates a win from a loss. Just always have one eye open ready to find secrets.

He also had some many challenges in this game. There was a really good one where the whole place is covered with grass. I had really low health in there on my first try and it took me out.

I could honestly play this game over and over again nonstop. It never gets tiring. Scenery was awesome in this game. When you have good scenery in a game it makes you feel like you're actually inside the game. He did that in this game and it sure did feel like that. It was really cool with all the different designs and everything.

I honestly believe that since the new updates came out, there has been a lot of technique challenges. There was some in this game. One of the ones that were pretty cool was one that is used very often. Just the simple jump over lava routine. I don't know why but this one I fell and everything. The bat followed me up and just kept knocking me into it. That broke the theory of, "The big guy over powers the little."

A lot of the enemies weren't placed very well. You could just jump right over top of them and carry on with life. That was really one of the only downfalls of the game. I remember Fablequest 1 but it is no match for Fablequest 2. This was a really epic platformer.

What I liked:

The scenery was probably my favorite thing I guess you could say. It was really interesting as each part felt like a different tale.

What I disliked:

The enemy placement. A lot of the enemies you could just jump over and forget about them as I said above.

Suggestions

Place your enemies tighter so you can't get rid of them. Make the enemies come to you. Don't let the player avoid them.
