Tegers' sixth Review!

Pre-thoughts

Omega has made a lot of games. Many are very well made and a few can be a little meh also. This game was reviewed by request, but it doesn't matter. Just from the thumbnail, it looks like it will be an interesting game.

Review

Starting off in level one there is not much of a scenery but looking at the radar shows that it is a pretty large level. While skipping around through the level I haven't come across many traps or hazards. Fusion city seems a little dull so far. Seeing I only had to collect five crystals makes me think "This will be easy!". But nope, it's very easy to get lost in this. I'm always going away from a certain spot --- This adds a little challenge to the game.

New sectors can be unlocked by a blue key you find later in the game. Which took me a while to find. Onto the enemy placement there were a few enemies placed in random areas. There weren't too much enemies and a few weren't really scattered too correctly. Level 1 so far isn't the best, but neither is it the worst. The scenery could be improved a little bit more. A little bit more puzzle could be included.

Thoughts so far

Level 1 could use improvement. I don't consider this so far one of Omega's best games. The scenery is the one thing that could really use the most improvement in level 1 of Fusion City. Limited puzzle and hazards can be improved more. But at least there are a few enemies. It is a little lengthy though, and the main challenge really (for me) is getting around. Power-ups are limited. Which makes it a little better. But it's hard for me not to lose a life.

On to level two the light level is decreased. And a few more enemies can be included. Puzzle is introduced with the fake trap doors as your platform. I would've never thought of that with one of my games. This made it a little more fun. Now there's only two crystals. Sounds like barely any for me and I'd think it would be quick, nope. This level is a decent length just as level 1 was.

Level two was a little bit more decent than level one, but not by a long-shot. A few bit more hazards, and challenge increased. But still the same dull scenery. Other than the scenery, and most of the puzzles and hazards. Fusion City was an okay game. But in my own opinion it's not the game you want to play when you're looking for some fun out there.

Much improvement could be with this game.

Pros

Lenthiness - This game takes from around 15 - 20 minutes to complete. It's 100% possible. Too bad I beat it as a guest though.

Enemies - Weren't too many, but a few is good enough.

Challenge - Not too hard. Not too easy. It could be a little confusing too.

Cons

Scenery - I just had to say this first. The scenery is just way to dull.

Traps & hazards - I would've to put this neutral. But the traps and hazards weren't occurring enough in this.

Final Thoughts
