Smiley In Space
Tegers' fourth review
Well, this is Superjag's first game. And yet his first game is his first feature. Yet he joined 11 months ago - So I thought I'd check Smiley in Space out anyway.
This game is good, considering it's a member's first game. And includes only 3 levels. Each are a little complex and creative. Level 1 was quite easy, if you could find a way to free your buddy from the bars. Once outside though there isn't too much action, just don't want to hit the lava-like stuff sitting on the floating rocks. Which was kind of interesting.
Level 2 is interesting too. Just like level 1, you have to find a way to free your buddy to get it to unlock something. You have to be really careful and watch out for the lava coming out of the volcano. Which was also very creative. And it spews out coins too. Once all coins are collected in this level you go on to level 3, which was very cool...
Thoughts so far?
Well, not at level 3 yet, but by playing level 1 & 2 this game was a masterpiece. If superjag keeps it up he'll probably be a physics gaming legend. Smiley in Space is also very addictive and you'd probably want to play it over again even after you actually win it. It also is a good inspiration on other members to say "Hey, this game's awesome! And if someone could get a game like this feautured, I'll go make one myself!".
Level 3 was the 'boss' for this game. There's a big huge monster below that's firing at you. Level 3 is also very hard. I couldn't really get passed it but yet it's quite cool and creative of superjag to do this. Smiley in Space really does have a good reason for it's feature. It is also quite long to finish considering you might have to restart a level.
Challenge - Smiley in Space is pretty hard. But the challenge makes it way more fun.
Creativity - Superjag was very creative with making Smiley in Space. Especially with the monster in the last level & the volcano.
Puzzle - Figuring out the puzzles let's you advance in this game. Like freeing your buddy from the rod. That was a neat puzzle.
There's really many more pro's with this level but I don't want to make this too long listing them!
There's not many I can really think of. But the one level that could use improvement is level 1. Which could have more action, but it is unneeded due to how cool & creative this level is anyway.
Smiley in Space is probably one of my favorite if not my most favorite physics game made. I'm pretty sure anybody else would agree with this.
