The Legend of Zelda is a game created by matthade2

Matthade2 is a user that I haven't seen much of. I decided to try this game because I wanted to give one of his games a shot. Let's give this game a fair shot. Get your snacks ready, get some soda, and just sit back and enjoy the review. Now, let's start off the review with First thoughts.

First Thoughts

Ok, I just want to say that this game doesn't have really good scenery. The scenery is really bland, and it isn't that good. The graphics are fine, but the scenery is not that impressive.

Basically, the scenery needs a lot of work as far as I can tell. Basically, this is probably not going to be the best game I've reviewed, isn't it? Well, I digress. let's see how well the story stacks up.

Story

The story isn't really good. Zelda games are known for good storytelling, and this game has a simple, generic, story. The story lacks detail and it needs work. It doesn't have any interesting characters, which is an another thing that makes Zelda games so good, or events, which is really an upset. If Matt put more work into the story, I would like the story. So, now let's go into the gameplay.

Gameplay

Alright, the gameplay is nothing like a Zelda game. It is a platformer, instead of a top-down RPG. The game has not so good enemy placement, and it is really poor. The game does do a good job with simple things to do in the PPM, such as weapons and slider platforms. However, the game lacked interesting physics and it lacks clever puzzles, which every Zelda game should have. The lack of puzzles is disappointing, as the puzzles were an important part of any Zelda game, and all Sploder Zelda games should have puzzles that make the player think. So, the gameplay isn't that good, either. Also, the bosses are cheap, and they need a lot of work.

Challenge

The game is crazy with the enemies and traps. It is too challenging, and it needs to be toned down. The enemy placement makes the game really unforgiving. Also, It is just wrong to go all over the place with the enemies and traps. The game lacks puzzles, but the game sure is challenging with its crazy enemy placement and trap placement. The game is not so fun with its poor placement.

Final Thoughts:

I feel that this game isn't good enough for pros and cons, but let's just say that this game is an average game. the game has a generic story, lack of puzzles, not so good enemy placement, it isn't like a real Zelda game, and it is not so good in terms of scenery. However, the game is a bit better than some of those other Sploder Zelda games, but not as good as Moolatycoon's Zelda game(which I might cover in teh future). It also beats the CDI Zelda games any day. But, still, the game isn't that good and it needs more work.

Scoring:

First Thoughts:1/10

Story:2/10

Gameplay:2/10

Challenge:3/10

Final Score:2 and a half out of ten

I hope you enjoyed this review. Come back an another day and stay tuned for more reviews.
