Mario, has been in the savin' the Princess business so of course he'll croak eventually. Now he is dead all thanks to a Bullet Bill shot by Bowser. While Peach is still in Bowser's grasp there's only one thing he can do: Escape Heaven and land back on Earth safely and get The Princess back. This game isn't too good so don't start complaining, I know.
