Mission 4B:Vape Outpost Delta!

OBJECTIVE: Destroy Gamoran Outpost Delta and steal it's weapons. INTELLIGENCE DATA: The outpost is defended by about 5-10 guard ships and 4 turrets stationed in an outer ring. In addition, a speeder scout has been sent to intercept you. Proceed onward, and one will come to the second ring of defenses. This is composed of 4 missile launchers, one on each side. In the third ring are 8 defence turrets, two on each side. Then, there is the outer wall of the outpost, shaped like a rectangle. There are 6 repellers installed in the first ring of armor. Right behind that are 6-10 mortars. The second ring of chambers in the outpost is divided into 8 sections. The two facing front and back have two tanks in each of them. The smaller ones on the sides have one drone turret each. Finally, the 4 on the corners have missiles, bombs, and mines. Finally, there is a third wall square, in the center, and inside are two more mortars, each powered by an atomic power core. STRATEGY: Smash though its defenses quickly, and get weapons and atomic power cores. Then, wreak havoc! TACTICS: Dispatch the speeder scout with missiles (z), then fly around the outpost until you get to one of the rear corners. When you near the outpost, use your long range sensor map (press shift) your J-ray (x) and bombs (c) to avoid and/or smash through the outpost's defenses. The armored walls should be your primary targets, and once they are breached, fly like heck to get weapons and atomic power cores. Then, use the j-ray, bombs, and missiles to destroy the outpost itself. Then, hunt down the ships and outer defenses with j-ray, missiles, and bots (b). BACKGROUND DATA: Now that we have eliminated the immediate threat to our borders, we can press on to other objectives. We need to raid and destroy Outposts Delta and Epsilon. They are resupply and repair outposts, respectively. The Gamoran fleet is preparing for a major counteroffensive. If we can knock those two out in time, then the attack will have to be called off and the Gamoran supply line crippled. If not, then the heavily armed and armored Gamoran will surely crush our defense fleet. We are counting on you, in the Vanguard-class prototype strike ship, to destroy them. Success!
