Mr. Van Hoff has moved out of his house as he is afraid that his house has been over run by evil creatures. He didnt have time to grab his gun so it is still there somewhere. He wants you to retrieve his crystal. His servant is possibly guarding it because he stole it just before Mr. Van Hoff ran away.
