But hey, but if I do get kidnapped after I win money in a casino, there's no more fun place to go than the one Staylor created in this game.

Even at first glance, it sure looks like a lot of effort went into creating the map. And I'm sure it did, because the map of this game did something special, something rare; it played tricks on me. It was probably mostly due to the tile choice and the lighting effects, but the way some of the objects were placed, you'd have to think hard to figure out what to do next. How do I get to that room? How do I get past the lava?

Play this game for yourself and you'll see, this really is a fight to survive. The enemies could not have been placed better in this map. They posed perfect challenges and were even utilized in a few brilliant traps. You'd never see them coming.

I will digress, and say that there were a few traps that were obvious, going along with a few obvious or really pointless puzzles that really didn't affect health or gameplay much, such as at the beginning. And by obvious, I also mean that they've been used before.

Unfortunately, in this game, not much was really new or fresh, but Staylor did a great job with what he knew. The gameplay in itself was pretty fun, because of several clever action scenes and the fact that the way everything was arranged, it made you stop and think. Staylor overall did a good job of blending the flavors of a maze game, puzzle/strategy game, and action game all into one delicious play. Of course, I emphasize good, and not great.

When I run this game through my formula, it comes out to be a 3.8/5 rating, but that rounds up to a:

My Final Rating: 4/5
