Review #4

NB: This was review I made long ago for EGD 6, but I never got around to publishing it. Nonetheless, enjoy!

Game: Hang Castle III: N & D

Game maker: Superluigi77

Genre: Action

Game Creator Used: Shooter

Objective: [Multiple tasks]

Sorry for the title, but what more can I say? After a lot of effort by Moola and other reviewers, I can officially say EGD Reviewing is over! Now, let's not waste more time, time to get to the review.

Pre-Gameplay: Before facing this game, I knew very well why it had not been reviewed. Difficulty. I was never into Luigi's game, but the chance of tackling and reviewing his game was just too great:I had to do it. Despite not being the best of game players, I genuinely thought I could go far in this game. Could I? Let's see.

Gameplay: Patience, skill and luck. A trio of abilities you must utilize at the same time to beat this game. Something which I thought I could do, but I was wrong. Luigi has succeeded in making this a game the ultimate challenge for any gamer. The first obstacle required skill; the second, luck and the rest of the game: Sheer patience and perseverance. I think I'm right in presuming, or shall I say, assuming, that this was all ingeniously deliberate from one of the most influenttial members Sploder has seen. I can't comment much more until I get to the ratings, all I can say is that he's done a great job of this game, and you should give it a shot if you think you're up to the challenge of beating it.

Post-Gameplay: Whoa! That was tiring. I learnt quite a bit from this game. Expect the unexpected, and don't go about facing games you know you can't cope with at all, lol, however, looking the game map, I cleared a sufficient amount of the game for me to judge it. So, well, yea, now to the ratings I guess.

Ratings

Design: 15/25: The layout was what I expected. He incorporated a classic sploder game layout, which I found sufficiently enjoyable.

Placement: 21/25: Devious. Devious indeed. He placed this game in a such challenging, yet rustic way that I had to submit. Congrats, you have permanently damaged my game playing prospects, lol.

Puzzle: 17/25: this game wasn't that puzzling at first, but after you waste 5 minutes figuring where to go, it does, funily enough.

Fun: 14/25: As challenging as this game is, it lacks fun quite a bit. It's not entertaining as other feature worthy games in my opinion.

Total score: 67/100 [67%]

Not bad, this game was definitely feature worthy, but I don't think Luigi has cracked the entertainment conundrum. Other than that, this was great.
