Killing Vines is a game created by sack

Ah, Sack. No, not the kind you put potatoes and etcetera in, the level 228 Sploder user. Sack is pretty good with the platformer. His three featured games were both platformer and were pretty succesful. His games have usually met around my expectations, but will this? Apparantly Killing Vines wasn't so much of a hit with some reviewers and editors. Well, I'm thinking they colud be wrong, because the thumbnail looks pretty cool. You know you're going to have to be prepared, because two Mutants are staring at you. So, onto the game-play...

Game-play

General Overview

This game was slightly dissapointing... You notice the Mutants are in water, so they won't get you. There are too many options, and some-people may begin to tire of this game and get bored. The only enemies are Mutants. Another thing I noticed while playing this game was that it was the exact same as 'Dead Screams' except with a different start and different bricks, so there was nothing new here. All you had to do was jump around dodging mutants to find the escape pod. Also, this game is very easy, see how many people have won it.

Scenery

There wasn't any scenery apart from the bricks you stand on, which was a shame. you could stand almost anywhere simply by killing one ot two mutants, so you might aswell've added scenery. Some grass would have fitted this game quite nicely. The lava pit was pointless, a waste of space and added more lag. There were very few elememts to this game: Bricks, Mutants, ladders, Perms, ladder and lava. Much more variety needed.

There were no puzzles or traps, possibly which helped the fact that this game was so boring. The closest thing to a puzzle is choosing which way to go at the start, and that doesn't really matter, as they all connect to each other in the end. There was nothing even vaguely close to a trap in this game, to be honest.

There is nothing special about this game: Its a white dot on a bright red painting. The gameplay was as bland as museli. All you had to do is run past everything to get to the end, simple as. And I know I've mentioned that before. It's not fun, if you lose on your first try, I doubt you will try again to beat it. I know this is harsh, but I am supposed to review truthfully, and that's what I have do. Now, on that note, on to the ratings.

Challenge 4/10

Fun 2/10

Originality 4/10

Scenery 4/10

Power-ups 1/10

Action 3/10

Enemy Placement 2/10

Overall 4/10

Sorry, but this game was a MAJOR dissapointment.
