I am now a |^:HardMash:^| reviewer! First |^:HardMash:^| review!

Hey guys, before I start with my review, I am now a |^:HardMash:^|reviewer. I asked Hardgamez77 in a PM, sent him one of my MS reviews, and he accepted it. So, just going to say that before PotatoMash gets mad at me, because Hardgamez77 did say accepted.

Introduction:

Hey guys, back with my 7th review, and I’m trying to help my chances as editor, so I’m going to try and make this review a good one. First of all, today I will be reviewing I NEED HELP by soloman12 and swaynester (a collab game), by Soloman12. Soloman12 has only been online for a little bit, and has recently become a little in-active, so I thought that I would review his game. Now, I know Soloman12 in real life, and his last name is Swayne, to that’s what I’m going to call him throughout the rest of the review.

Pre-Thoughts:

Okay, so as soon as I saw this game, I knew that campaign was spelled wrong, and that’s personally a little sad, since I know his age. I know Swayne makes pretty good games, but they’re never feature worthy. His games are “original,” But he comes up with ideas that I’ve seen before. What I mean by that is he puts things you don’t expect, but he makes the overall game something that you’ve heard a thousand times before. I was expecting a game that would be challenging, and would make it so I would give it a chance, but epic fail. So, I was wondering about reviewing this, but overall, just went with it.

Thumbnail:

Okay, so the thumbnail didn’t look, well, what’s the word I’m looking for, well, exciting. It looked plain, used the tile # that comes on right when you open the creator, 119, and used giant tiles, I’ve seen a lot of people do this before, and I didn’t think that was such a good idea to put, since I am now rating thumbnails as well. So, the thumbnail looked boring, but I wanted to play it, so I did, and went to go play the game.

Gameplay:

I was right, this game was hard. Not hard like feature worthy Platformer games, but just plain hard. He put too many enemies, that it wasn’t hard anymore. It was just plain annoying. He put traps all over the place that got me pretty mad. He said about this game in real life, and he said that he learned how to use the switches, which made me sorry for ever telling him about them, because he went overboard with them on this game.

Review:

Okay, so this game has a lot of traps, which really annoys me a lot because you are just walking and then, wth, makes a cl0ser. For the first time, I’m putting traps in the front, because there were so many of them, even more than the mass of enemies. The traps were very un-original, and had a lot of mistakes in what a trap is. It doesn’t export anything original, and doesn’t make the game look very good.

The enemy placement was atrocious, because there were too many of them. There’s an instance when you are using your jetpack to fly up to the next set of challenges, and it makes it impossible because you run out of grapple or jetpack and make it impossible, making it so I don’t want to do this game. So, I hated this.

The Power Up placement is okay, but there are a lot of flaws. For one, there were pretty much jetpacks only, and you need a mouse gun. When you reach the enemies, it’s impossible, so I need a mouse gun to fight back with. They were placed in places that are very obvious, and you don’t need to go and get them, he puts them there for you, but then you have to charge in with a non-powerful weapon and you can’t win.

There was a maze, but not a very complicated one. There were too many shortcuts and there weren’t enough parts to the maze to make it hard and confusing. I will write a paragraph on it later, but as you can see from above, this game is not feature worthy. The maze is very redundant and repetitive and made it so it became boring.

The block placement was one of the only good aspects of the game. For one, there’s blocks where they need to be for you to survive, which makes me want to thank him, because then I wouldn’t have survived for more than 13 seconds. Literally. The game had a lot of good block placement, and that’s pretty much the only good part about it.

Positives:

There were very few, but here they are. It has good block placement, and has some exciting parts, but that’s all. The rest I boring, dull, impossible, annoying, and is going to make me want to never play his games again.

Negatives:

Everything else. Seriously, he needs to improve the expectance and annoyance of this game. It was highly improbable at a lot of parts, and was most of the time just flat out annoying. If he wants to make this game feature worthy, he needs to make a lot of changes before it is.

Ratings:

Block placement: ___.5/_____

Enemy placement: .5/_____

Power up placement: _/_____

Traps: ___/_____

Mazes: _/_____

Overall: _.8/_____

Feature worthy?

splode no. Too many annoying parts and lag parts it makes me want to not play his games. I know I should only review good games, but what’s the point if you can’t review a bad game once in a while. So no, not feature worthy.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, this game really bleeps, so it’s not feature worthy. If he changes it, I will change the review. So overall, I don’t recommend this game.
