Diamond Heist 2 is a game created by tookewl

Okay, so I remade this review, even though I don't agree at all with what people were saying, I'll just tough it up and write more, I guess?

Well, let's start off with some background. As most of us already know, tookewl is one of the greatest members to come to this site. He has revolutionized puzzles, he has technically brought minute action games, and in general, has made games that has inspired other great games by other members. I'm sure with the tools we had today, tookewl would make the best RPGs if he were still around on the site.

Now we know what this man beast brings to the table. Yes, he is a man beast. Yes, I have pictures of him all over my room. Let's just get back to the review. We know what tookewl can offer us.

Now, before I get into the game, lets take a look at his game page. If you go to the last page, this is the first game on there. This is obviously a sequel, which means the first one, probably along with other games of his, were probably deleted by tookewl because he didn't think they were good enough. But, he didn't delete Diamond Heist 2. I loved the original, to put this on the record. So now the question remains: Is this game worthy of tookewls' game page?

Well, for a lack of better words, all I can really say to answer the latter is yes. This game surely does meet requirements of being amazing like any other tookewl game. This isn't the same fashion of game you will see from tookewl's normal batch of games. He makes games that bring something completely new, or just plain makes an epic. This, does not fit in either category. "It's just a maze game, right?!" Well, random person asking questions, the answer is no.

This games structure is a maze, containing several crystals you have to grab in order to win. Simple, right? Well, yeah, if you don't consider the fact that this game is huge and takes a little bit of work to actually win. It's like tookewl spent his whole saturday making sure the enemy placement would be pure strategy. I mean you could, hypothetically, run out and just shoot stuff, if you like ~dying~. Or, you could use your weapons wisely.

This is a tiny paragraph for the outskirt like parts of the game on each sides of the map. Tookewl incorporated these pretty smoothly. Both contain things like health packets, bombs, everything. So if you want to win, well, stack up while you're there. Basically, the outskirts are hot. And so is tookewl...

The simple, yet polished looking structure of a maze with the use of the silver walls has even inspired me in, probably, half the shooter I have made. And it's all due to this game. Serously. This game is just fun. And isn't that what we all really look for in games? We look for a game that we can sit down, and really just enjoy. Tookewl's game is just simply a game to enjoy. Its enemies are a challenge, its use of many different items fits the game perfectly, and, oh yeah, its got a wasteland.

I guess I should sit here and talk about the down sides of this game. I saved it for the end, because, if you're still reading this, then you deserve an award of something. Well, the game has some flaws, and instead of flaws, it's more like 'ways to make the game better than it already is'. It just felt like the game was missing something. It has potential, and don't get me wrong: This game is amazing as it is. If the game was larger, brought more of a challenge, or brought more cool sequences, it would of brought the score much higher.

Remember, this is a game of a much older time. You can't expect much, and like I said, if tookewl was still around today to make games, Diamond Heist 3 would make your head fall off. Literally.

The "100 Rating" .. 93/100
