A Tournament For Immortality...

First off, let me say that this game had excellent traps. If you moved just a little too far or if you didn't heed that voice's warning or hacked the wrong door, you would die, lose a lot of health, or be swamped with the little flying probes. This game was pretty hard, and the addictiveness was about average. The storyline for this game wasn't as good as Jessie, but it was still pretty good, as you were in a tournament to gain immortality. It was a solo mission, which also helped the overall mood of the game. There were 9 levels to the game, so it wasn't like spellmage didn't work on it for long- in fact, I'd say the opposite was true, as this game probably took a while.
This game's composition was very good, with winding hallways and puzzles with secret health packs (which were very needed). Power-ups were usually only in a secret place, which was either hard to see or behind a shield. One health pack was in the wall, which was inaccessible and seemed to mock you like, "Ha-ha no health for you!" Scenery was good, too, as the rooms sometimes changed from laboratory to lava containment or other changes, and slime floor pieces were used very well- as scenery, and as a trap. The enemy placement was OK, though sometimes they would flood you in the hallways, making it a little laggy, but other than that it was good. Well that's it for my review, now for the ratings!
