Let's see how much I can get it through thick-headed idiots like rule60, khill, cutegamemaker, so7d, etc. ART GAMES SUCK. Point blank. I'll give reasoning.
First off, the people who enjoy art games are 8 years old, can't spell for their life, probably watch blues clues in their spare time, and just obsess for the worst reasons. If you think art games rule, then you fail. If you make art games, you fail. If you play art games, you fail. ~Directed towards 8 year old art lovers~ If you want to make art, GET A PENCIL AND PAPER AND DRAW. Sploder is for carefully made games with perfect challenges, difficult puzzles, and GAMES THAT DONT TAKE 5 MINUTES TO MAKE. I know what you're thinking. "Art games don't take 5 minutes to make", and, sometimes, yes. BUT ITS A WASTE OF TIME, MINDSPACE, AND ENERGY. Play ACTUAL games created by people with ACTUAL brains and ACTUAL skills. Obeliskos, Lahdeedah, Tookewl, Darut, Trio, Gameraterz, Or me. Any of the game makers in this list are INCREDIBLE, not just by me, but the entire of the forums. Okay, I hope I made an impact. I hope we can at least get some people to stop art game making. Rule, Khill, Neal, ETC, post your defencive statements here, and I'll tackle them with every ounce of brainpower I have.
