Behind Bars Of War is a game created by lordeldar

Hi guys, creatingames here, and I'm back for my 80th review. In this review, I will be reviewing Behind Bars of War by lordeldar. Lordeldar has made a lot of great, action-packed, featured shooters in the past, so I had a lot of expectations for the game. Was this game as good as I expected it to be though? Find out in the review!

Let's start off with the basics; Behind Bars Of War was very action packed and challenging. It had a lot of enemies to keep me entertained, but the occasional bit of health made this game challenging. The game wasn't too difficult though, and I think I got pretty far in to the game, as most gamers should so they can experience a lot of what is in a game. There were a lot of different puzzling sequences as well to help keep the game action packed and entertaining.

As I was saying previously, Behind Bars Of War was puzzling. There were a lot of puzzles involving switches which really challenged me as a gamer. It did take me a little while to solve some of these though, and in one of two cases I had to ask lordeldar for help, which is a little bit disappointing, as I think puzzles shouldn't take too long to solve yourself. There were a decent amount of puzzles though, and generally, they were good.

Behind Bars Of War was also pretty addicting. Whenever I lost, I often wanted to try again, which is great, as in a lot of games I'd just quit because there is nothing to make me want to restart. What made this addicting though was in fact the action, the challenge and the puzzles, as I'd often what to try again because I'd think 'I know what to do now.' Addictiveness is important to have in games, and that is something this game has.

I think that this game looked really bland. I would have liked to have seen a bit more scenery with either poly's or artwork. There were tree's later on in the game, which did make the game look a little bit more exciting, but in a lot of the game, there wasn't much scenery. Scenery is something I know I need to work on in my games as well, like lordeldar does.

I wasn't too keen on the storyline either. It was something to do with saving your wife and your son I think (along those lines) which isn't very original and is your basic storyline. Lordeldar didn't really keep the story going neither, and I found that there less messages as the game went on, so the story was something that kind of faded away as well, which is a bit of a shame. But it was good to see that lordeldar actually included a story though, because a lot of users don't bother in games.

Rating: 4/5

In conclusion, Behind Bars Of War is a very action packed, puzzling, challenging shooter by lordeldar. It was also addicting as well, but in my opinion, the storyline and scenery is to be improved on if lordelder wishes to get a 5/5 next time.
