Pre-thoughts:

Hello everybody, this is Dudki, back with yet, another review. This time I have decided to review a Physics Puzzle Maker, and from a user who's work I have admired for quite some time. I'm reviewing Asphalt by Gerald123. So, Gerald is a good friend of mine, and I know that he's got mad skills when it comes to game-making. He is an excellent PPG game maker, and he has also earned himself alot of popularity for his few, but indeed, epic games. Now, his hard work has finally paid of, getting his newest PPG, Asphalt on the featured page. Did he deserve it? Let's find out.

The thumbnail of this game looks great. You get a feeling that alot of time and effort has been put into it. The name and the thumbnail makes you think that this game has something to do with driving. It is truly a great thumbnail. You can already see the great scenery that has been put into this game, and I just knew that this was going to be worth playing.

Review:

This game really puts you in the drivers seat. Asphalt is a very challenging game. It starts off easy but quickly raises in difficulty and I like that development. The main thing that the game puts you up against, is pretty much just small challenges that quickly gets harder and more unique. The game gives you several challenges like drifting, car chases, and racing against other cars. It had a nice feel to it, and the game was very entertaining, action-packed and addicting. The controls for your car are simple and easy to use, and you wouldn't have too much trouble controlling your vehicle.

There is honestly not that much to say about the puzzles in this game. As far as i saw, there weren't any puzzles at all, although you could definitely say the game is very puzzling. The game focuses more on entertaining the player and Gerald did a good job on that. I would have liked some puzzles in this game though. I know what Gerald can do, and i'm sure that he could probably fit a puzzle or two in this game.

As stated before, this game was very puzzling. Gerald placed a variety of different obstacles and hazards that had to be avoided while completing your goals, like parked cars, civilians and police cars. This made Asphalt very challenging, and without all that, this game wouldn't be as good as it is. The obstacles really did much to this game, and was what added the most challenge. It also made game very entertaining, surprising the player by having a police car come out and chase you for the rest of the levels. This really added a thrill to this game and made it so much better.

Now, on to the best part of this game in my opinion, the scenery. Gerald have done a fenominal job with the scenery. This game was really worth looking at. You can tell that alot of time and effort has been put into the scenery. The graphics that have been used to make this game are very good-looking and detailed. Gerald had so many different things in his game like signs, houses, and even a soccer-field. He had done so much to make Asphalt look like a modern day world. It'd say that this is some of the best scenery that I have ever seen in a Physics game.

The placement is this game is very good too. Nothing was placed randomly and everything was in it's place. Both houses, cars etc. where place nicely. Some obstacles were placed in some spots that made them harder to avoid which is also very good, adding a little bit of a challenge to the game. There's really nothing bad about the placement in this game.

This game was really well-made, and really shows off Gerald's creative mind. I think that Asphalt had a lot of creativitiy. Each level of the game featured some new things that haven't been seen before and the cars chasing you, the scenery, and the overall gameplay, really showed off some talent. I was very impressed by how this game turned out to be in the end. When 2 cars in level hits eachother, they crash and start a fire. Alot of effort has also been put into making the game realistic, and I must say it all turned out pretty nice.
