Samus took a sample of the clones blood and scanned it....and this was not the blood of a Space Pirate..the commander had injected blood from all kinds of metroids into him and mutated into a.....SUPER METROID! Super Metroids are like Rulers of all Metroids.The Commander had discovered a way to control the Metroids! The Commander was now a Super Metroid which meant he could clone himself and shape-shift into any Metroid.Samus has to kill all of the Commanders clones and if he shape-shifts into anything,Samus will have to destroy it. The fate of the universe was in Samus's hands...she could not lose. Samus then went farther into the Mountain and a clone of the commander attacked her and took her weapons.Samus would have to fight them with her bare hands.
