Now that Samus had made it out of the Magma Cavern and almost killed herself doing it, she had to be getting close to the Commanders underground base. Suddenly, ahead of her Samus could see several bright lights. Could this be the base? thought Samus. Whether it was the base or not Samus was going to explore it. This would be her most dangerous mission yet also counting the fact that if she dies then Adam would never know. Samus proceeded into the base.
