Glee is a game created by mshaafay

~Introduction~

Hey there, guys. I'm EpicOrange789 with my third review, the first in a while. This will be my first EGD (Epic Game Drop) game review. For you people who don't know what EGD is, it's a competition for people who want one of their games in the EGL (Epic Game Library.) The best game wins and the top 2 enter the EGL. Anyway, the EGD game I will be reviewing is Glee, by Mshaafay. Glee is one of Mshaafay's 2 featured games, and considering that mshaafay's 'GalaKtik' contained masses of quality, I'm sure that Glee has some too. However, this game is an Algorithm Crew game, which has different aspects in than the other game creators. Even though it seems much harder to grab a feature with the 3D game creator, it doesn't mean it's impossible. Mshaafay has done it, but should he have accomplished it? Let's take a look and see.

Pre-Thoughts

His game seemed to grab 3rd place in the Algorithm Crew category in EGD out of 4 Algorithm games. Considering I found it on the features pages, I was dying to try it out. Testing out 9 levels filled with quality passes a rush through my body. The thought of seeing an Algorithm Crew game sat upon the Featured Games page shocked me, an passed a thought through my head. A thought that said: 'I must play this game.' I was about to click on the game, when I noticed the username, Mshaafay, below. Since he already has a feature to his name, I expected there would be a great amount of quality, and quantity. And most of all, I wanted to see something unique. Something unique beaming upon my face whilst exploring this 3D game. I click on the game, ready to begin. After it loaded, however, what do I see?

Game-Play

The game-play proved that Glee had much potential for a feature. It produced excitement at every corner, and the exploration through each of the nine action packed levels is thrilling. In each level, the fights with the pro-bots and the lizard men just make you want to continue, and attempt to complete the game. It builds up tension just to defeat one of those guys, so beating all of them may cause possible explosion to your internal organs. Anyway, there's something that I have to point out about this game which is pretty grand. No lag! Lag free games are mainly the best to play. However, most Algorithm Crew games have an extremely low amount of lag, so they're actually quite enjoyable to play. Even though frustration may get the best of you. Also, whilst playing the game I didn't manage to find any glitches. Glitch free games are pretty good too, if you ask me. But it may be different for you.

Puzzles & Traps

I'd say that the puzzles and traps are pretty unique and well thought out. Being surrounded by new puzzles and traps always puts a smile on my face. Well, unless I get too frustrated because I can't get through a level. Anyway, some of the puzzles and traps however have been used in some other Algorithm games. Unoriginal yet well planned, luckily. A well thought out puzzle can turn a frown upside-down, most of the time. Challenging puzzles, they are. Surrounded by brain teasing puzzles, I experiment different ways to pass. Brain trying to figure it out, and score! I pass through. Many more challenges ahead, until I reach the repetitive side. As the brain has already figured it out, doing it again will be a snap! And yes, there are a few repetitive puzzles in, and there aren't too many puzzles in. Obviously, mshaafay has ran out of puzzles. I wouldn't blame him though. Algorithm Crew games are the hardest to make if you're aiming for a feature.

Scenery

As you're travelling through the building called Glee that caught your eye earlier, it seems like the exact same thing if you go into a regular old building. However, it's worse. Whilst exploring, you notice that it's very hazardous. Acid and slime represent this hazardous area, and the extreme sighting of lazers zapping almost in every place brightens the effect up to a maximum level. However, there are some features of a regular old building, such as tables, yet scattered everywhere to show that the building, Glee, has basically been invaded. A bit of an unusual sight to see on a boys 13th birthday, that's for sure.
