Introduction

Hey, I'm jfurey14, leader of Miracle Reviews. I was gone for a few months, because I moved on to a new website. I'm back for now, and maybe for a while. Off that topic, happy new year from me, and all prayers towards you guys. New year, no limits.

Pre-Thoughts

I've never heard anything at all from this user, so I decided to take a go at this because it was on the queue. Looking at the thumbnail, I wasn't too key on the fact that it was all art, so I thought that the game would be decent or bad, but I'm just looking forward to reviewing a game anyways.

Review

I wasn't quite mistaken overall, because the game was decent. The layout was very random, and the placement wasn't that good either... but what made it good was the strategies that could be used to accomplish this game. The keys weren't too well placed because it wasn't exactly like a boss format. It was a key all by itself, making it really easy to cheat the key. There were a few mishaps here and there, and I'm guessing the game was rushed because of its bland appearance. Also, the game wasn't properly tested because of all the little things that could easily be cheated on. Basically, I think that this game was almost just lots of switches and enemies, but kinda fun. The game was almost all paths with turrets and enemies here and there, not making it too exciting. The thought of the game was okay, but it didn't go how it planned I'm guessing. I'll give you just a little bit of the gameplay. Starting off getting some powerups and going into a teleporter, typical. Then there is a big 'lobby' type of room, with a few paths and such. The first path I went down was easy, just hitting a few switch that released enemies that I just swooped by, and in a matter of time, I got to the key. Now the space to get into the room was too small for the key to get out, so I could just shoot in the room when the key was trying to get out of the opening. Easy beaten.

The rest was almost the same leading to the red key, but instead of having turrets, there were the underground enemies and the koptrs. I didn't beat the whole game, but I was just about to beat the red key when I got bombed. The game could use major improvement, but if this member is a rookie at shooters or just a rookie on sploder, it's a good start. Not a legendary game, but not a terrible game either. The game is a typical starter game looking at the attributes, but I do think that the creator of this game does understand the purpose of shooter games. For that, I give this member a thumbs-up. I hope to see better games in the future by this member, and let's see how the rating falls out.

After-Thoughts

I guessed right, because the game was decent. The creator met my standards, because it looked like he was a rookie. I bet he's also happy that his game got reviewed ;)

My-Thoughts

Next time, plan the game out a little. Don't just go out using random paths, and get rid of the switches. Sure, it makes a little fun if it's used a couple times, but don't use it in a bunch. Make sure that all of the battle scenes can lead up to a climax which will be the turning point of the game. Overall, I think that the game could use a lot of work, but for now I'd just work on the basics.

Scores

Action - 2.4/5

Puzzle - 1.9/5

Placement - 1.5/5

Gameplay - 3.5/5

Overall, this game recieves a 2.25. The game wasn't too key, but with improvement, this game could become a good original masterpiece.
