Welcome to...MARIO! KART! 8!!! (Jazzy Music Intro) It has been a LONG, grueling development process, but I have FINALLY finished the first installment to this series! In this cup, you will be taking on two CPUs in the first three tracks and then going it alone in the very last track, which, by the way, isn't what you'd expect. So! Reflections on this game's development: CPUs are stupid. Er, not the CPUs themselves, but the programming, as for THAT took up the most time during game design, and it was also kind of the reason why no CPUs were present in the last level. Usually, I'd get the CPUs to nearly make the first lap, and then they'd go and get stuck in some random part of the stage. Over and over and over again. I didn't want to keep you guys waiting, so I've decided to omit them from the series entirely! From now on, Mario Kart 8 is going to be a solo time trial mode with several obstacles throughout the stages that will potentially kill you. So, good luck, and start your engines!
