DAREDEVIL is based on the first season of the Marvel show on Netflix of the same name as well as the Marvel superhero of the same name, which made it's debut in 2015. Blinded by toxic chemicals as a child, Matt Murdock gains superhuman senses as a result, which allow him to navigate his surroundings more efficently than regular humans. Trained in martial arts by his mysterious blind mentor Stick, Matt, who is now an adult, fights the many criminal organizations of the town of Hell's Kitchen New York as the feared superhero/vigilante named Daredevil at night while working as a lawyer by day and defending the innocent with his best friend Foggy Nelson and his second best friend Karen Page.
