Princess Matty is back for her second EGD review, and with twenty-one guns in her hands (or I hope) because I am reviewing 21 Guns: Lay Down Your Arms. We will not be adventuring to the banana field, but rather to the weaponry room to collect our AK-47 or whatever guns you thugs use.

-Equips self with 21 guns-

-Takes off dress and puts on commando suit-

-Prepares to exit helicopter-

Review:

Puzzles and traps, the game had plenty. What seems to be an action scene can quickly turn into a puzzle scene- which brings my first complaint. What seems to be an enemy that is useless can easily become a crucial part of the game without the player noticing. This only happened a few times in the middle of the game, but it was enough to set me up.

Now brace for impact! Or rather my second complaint. I would always run out of missiles D: . Now, what princess doesn't like shooting missiles crazily and then realise they need some for an upcoming puzzle? Not this one. Nu-up.

On the bright side, the puzzles were quite original, or recycled in such a way that they became something that was unique. Play the game, and you will be stuck at a puzzle. I guarantee you that.

Health. Something that this game has loads of. I'm sure we'd love to live life with unlimited health, well here in 21 Guns: LDYA you can! Is this a good thing for the game though? Half and half. I'm guessing that guns wanted us to get far in the game and die from a puzzle, not from an action scene. On top of that, sometimes sacrificing health would be significant to passing a puzzle, even if your hot commando suit got ruined :(.

Action scenes. There are a few, but only about 2 or 3. The first spider key battle I counted as an action scene, and there's one with a load full of enemies with a pusher. Would the game's score be effected if this was removed? No. They were more a little addition than a necessity.

Eventually, Princess Matty laid down her arms and gave up the fight, but Lord Eldar came and rescued her... but that's another story
