[EGD] Unleash The Action.

It's been over two months since EGD games were released... and here we are, reviewing EGD games waayyyyy after their release.

As usual.

Me, being such a non-lazy reviewer, have decided to do review an EGD game to get this bleep done. Today I am reviewing (for the lazy people who can't look to the left of this text) UNL3ASHED: The Movie: The Game by Ravicale.

The main concept of this game is to run into rooms on steroids (or the shooter equivalent to them) and shoot down enemies before they shoot you down. According to ravicale, you are supposed to run in there with a tactic, but nobody does that so I guess we settled at this. Whichever one of those you choose to use in the game, it's an explosive in-your-face experience, and definitely a great one.

Thankfully, this game is pure action (with the exclusion of that "tactic" thing). You won't find yourself stopping to perform a tedious manoeuvre and fire a bomb or some bleep. You won't be finding yourself pushing a wingman through a door, but finding it likes to go elsewhere. All you will be doing is FIRIN THE LAZERS.

One thing that's different to this game than the hundreds of action shooters out there, is that you actually feel like you want to play this after you beat it. The charming sound of the laser on steroids (BALLAJAAJDHSJALJDHAJAAA) enhances the overall feel to the game. Well, not really. It's more of the heart racing, close-to-death, well executed action scenes. No matter how many times you play it, it's still as exciting as the previous time.

SPIDER KEY BATTLES DONE RIGHT! Everyone makes cramped, obnoxious spider key battles. They're not made to be battled in narrow hallways, they're supposed to be in open spaces with enemies and obstacles around. Thankfully, ravicale didn't be stupid and decide that we're gonna battle a boring spider key in a hallway with nothing around. He added BANG IN YOUR FACE action. Everyone that has just read this paragraph, for the sake of my sanity, no more cramped spider key battles.

There has to be cons to this game, and what I found is those bloody disruptors. They're such a buzzkill. You'll be on a roll, cruising along the game, and then all of a sudden... it hits you. Those purple rings of doom hit you. You lose your steroid power up, and you are trapped in the path of several mortars, turrets, whatever. I don't care what ravicale thinks of them, they ruin the flow of the game and are extremely annoying after you get hit by them for the 10th time.

Before the ratings, I think I should briefly mention the storyline. You are a pyromaniac and like explosions or some bleep. I didn't really concentrate on the storyline, as you can see.

A solid game with a con that makes the game VERY frustrating at certain areas.
