Adventure Zone is a game created by mat7772

Not this game. I do not think the name nor storyline is creative, what so ever. Some guy wants to rule the world, go beat the horrible bosses, yada yada. Too much competition if you ask me. Every bad guy wants to take over the world, in all honesty, who doesn't want to have everything they want when they want it exactly how they want it ect. Does that make it a bad game? Oh god no. In this review we shall explore my thoughts on this feature worthy game. (I featured it). Keep note of a few things whilst reading this review. I have beaten the game. I know every map. I lost three lives in the process, but Matty was nice enough to leave some extra ones lying around here and there. Also, this is a new creator, so I have different standards and rating style, if you don't like it don't comment. Lets dive in, shall we?

Adventure Zone is an Arcade Game consisting of 7 (really 5 in terms of gameplay) levels. Most levels contain one questing level and then a boss. The game overall was pretty fun. Each level had a different theme. Grass, Swamp, Water, Fire, and the last one. Each level had the same boss, but with a few changes here in there during the battle.

Going into how Matt actually used the enemies, I wasn't a big fan of his placement. Was it good? No. Was it bad? Nah. The enemies just kind of seemed there. They had little purpose. There weren't many required battles so the game did not put emphasis on fighting and leveling up. I just didn't get what I wanted from that department. Also I didn't feel like the npc's/enemies had much of a personality. It was a one time deal with the enemies, and it just wasn't a very intriguing storyline.

Going on into how the actual game was set up, I liked each level and what is brought to the table. I thought the designs made the game fun, such as the jumps or switches you had to hit to get a solution to a problem. Mat has shown that he knows how to make a good map. The backgrounds were also nice. Obviously I wasn't err, doing big boy stuff over it, but it was eye candy and it just made the game more attrac- more visually appealing.

I had fun when I was playing the game. The jumps across lava and close to death situations kept me at the edge of my chair as I raced to the finish collecting as many coins as I good. Just enough I might add, to top the game's own creator in terms of points. >=D. This game has a lot to offer and I recommend this to anyone that wants to worry about dying, and has fun whilst doing so. Sorry for the shorter review but I don't have much to talk about other then that I personally enjoyed this game.

Before I wrap it up, let me explain what I am looking for in each rating.

The Maps section looks for just the design. Enemy Placement is a given. Backgrounds consist of how nice the game looks, creativity consists of how creative and interesting the game is, Storyline consists of the character speeches and overall story and gameplay is how much fun I had and how smoothly the game played.

Conclusion

Overall this was a fun game. A 3.5 is not a bad score from me at least. I felt Mat could have done better in every aspect, but he still did a nice job. I know this is his first try. Nice shot, you got a feature. I congratulate you sir. Thanks for reading.
