Why I have chosen to Review this Game:

I have chosen this game because I saw it on Featured, played and realized it is a definitely feature worthy, but there was one slight problem. The views on it were low, for a feature. So I have now decided to get this game a load full of views with a persuasive Review.

Pre-Thoughts:

Looking at Paccreater's games he looks like a decent memeber with proper games. I had already played a few of his game and I have been impressed and not so Impressed but this Collaboration with Ogglee276 "The Gloaming" was by far his best yet.

After-Thoughts:

I was taken away with this Collaboration game. It was exciting great form the start. Loads was added in and I could see that they were heading for Glory with this game and I tagged along with it easily. Since this game has levels I will do each level at a time.

Level 1:

At the start a superb scenery was behind my player. It looked really well made as you were collecting the Mace and the Sword. There was a lot of effort put into this first level with the decoration as that can be a good part of a Platformer. The Enemy Placement in this level was average, I have defiantly seen better but was still ok. A couple of times a thug or Mutant jumped on top of me by accident or something like that, which made it slightly less brilliant. The health in this level was low but was never needed as you needed to complete the level by only killing 9 enemies, half of them were bats anyway. There was on Life up but that I am guessing was for the next few levels though. The block choice was mixed up and perfectly used. It all seemed to blend in to make the game more realistic, not like a light green tile and then a Red tile in the exact same part. I was also not to impressed with the length of the game but as I got further in the game I realized that it didn't matter to much since I was having a great time from one place to another.

Level 2:

This level for me was the Worst. It was okay but not as good as the others. The backwalls were not as impressive but were still good with the blending especially with the Block tile choice. I did think that the Enemy Placement in this level though was very good, there was always something there but it was always in a position where you have a chance against them. There was one massive Glitch in this game with the Enemies. It was a Thug that did nothing it just stood there, and the even worse part was that you could just walk through it which made me think for a while. No, it was not just a glitch that happens sometimes because I have played this game alot and every time the same thing happens. Health was an Important part in this level, and alot was given out. At one place you had to walk through Lava and there was alot of Health to be given out. Also another Life was to be collected. The length in this level was slightly longer than the first which for me did not matter as the first was always the better one out of the two.

Level 3:

In the whole game of "The Gloamnig" this was by far my favorite level. The decoration was great and at one time it was an amazing red than you eye cannot miss. It all blended in well together and the Block choice again was good. The Enemy placement was fantastic, since the other two levels had have its down parts there are barely any in this level. Everywhere you went was pure brilliant in this Level. Paccreater and Ogglee used the switches well, as there were alot of key parts in this game that came down to the switches. I think they tried to achieve fun with the switches but not using them to make it harder, if you know what I mean. There was one Crystal to collect in this level and it was not a very special passage to get it. It was right at the end infront of a Burst Tile. The length on this level was not big at all but if you take all of the good parts from this level I won't be surprised if it is your favorite.

Level 4:

This level was the last level of "The Gloaming" and the most decorative of them all. The Enemy placement was not bad but what I liked about it was the fact that they used different varieties of enemies. Level 4 had loads tile colours even the Fire Block, which I really liked beacuse it was an interesting level to play. There were no major puzzles in here and was not a brand new idea. I think a couple of other people had done this sort of level before but I still thought it was a great Game to Play.
