I Can't Think Of A Clever Title :/

Alright bud�.so...you wanna read a review about Raving and Drooling. Good, because ol� Dr. Shady is on the way. Proxy is actually a good buddy of mine. Don�t know him? Talk to him, he�s a cool dude. But the real question is, are his games good? I�ve never played his games, so I have no idea what to expect. It is featured so it must be good. Enough rambling, onto the review!

Pre-Thoughts

This game looked promising as soon as I clicked on the game. You�re thrown into an open hallway with a nice decor. I have to give props to Proxy for how he designed the background, the symmetry looks very nice. The music is also a great choice. It�s a very melodramatic and almost depressing tune that I think fits very well with the atmosphere. I was very excited to hit �Click to Play!� almost because of the song alone. It left me very interested. I wanted more.

Storyline

The story definitely left me raving and drooling. I was a bit confused the first time I played through this game. The story was mostly talking to the player, and the dialogue was thrown out randomly throughout the game. I was lost mainly because I would forget what was said. The dialogue seemed somewhat unoriginal too, which isn�t something I particularly favor. A lot of generic taunting gets boring after a while.

Gameplay

Now, don�t dismiss this game because of the odd storyline just yet, because the actual gameplay is amazing. I had a lot of fun with this game. The puzzles, despite being rather difficult, were very fun. It was challenging, but in a good way. Have you ever played a difficult game and just quit because the difficulty wasn�t enjoyable? Well, you won�t have that problem with this game. Despite the great fun I had with a lot of the puzzles, I found the traps to be quite annoying. There was no escape for most if not all of them, which made it very frustrating to have to start all over. The action scenes were pretty average, they weren�t amazing but not particularly bad, either. With the gameplay, I�d say that this game does it incredibly well.

Scenery

I love this! Although the scenery for all the levels are quite similar, they look great. The designs with the background tiles look nice and give me the feeling I�m in a real place. Like, a bad guy's lair or something along those lines. A bad place I have to escape. As I stated in the pre-thoughts, the music went along really well with this somewhat evil, melancholic feeling. Proxy did an amazing job with the scenery as a whole.

Final Thoughts

This game is hard. Very hard. I�m sure by seeing the 10 difficulty, you can tell, but this is definitely a challenge. It�s a fun challenge. Proxy doesn�t have that many games, but just by playing this, I can�t wait to see what he puts out next. This was a very good game and despite some of the flaws, I found it very enjoyable and definitely deserves the feature it got. I�m happy that I tried out this game, and I�m gonna keep playing it and hopefully beat it. I suggest you play it too, it�s worth it!
